Thanks guys! I appreciate the compliments. I was planning on getting a few more pictures, but the spot I had picked out was no good. The leaves had already fallen off the trees.

I knew I was going to get the wheel well thing. I have a gravel drive and live on a country road. There is to much dust. No corrective step this time, just getting ready for winter. I'll be doing a big spring cleaning.

    Pricing Questions

I wished I lived in an area where 200 would get any detail. There is a local detailer that does stuff cheap. But to me it looks cheap. Everytime I price something i get the "well this guy can do it for this". I can't get started even though I get many compliments on my own vehicle.

When does one know when to rewax?

Personally I have followed the nickle rule. If the vehicle is clean and the water beads the size of a nickle, it's time to rewax.

    Engine Maintenance

The only reason I'm using it is because I plan on keeping the truck for ever if possible. I will get something else to drive later but really need to keep the truck. Who knows what the price will be 5 years down the road. For the same truck now it's about 4000 more.

    Engine Maintenance

Yes it's a diesel. It cost about 20 dollars to do the test. I get a pre-paid shipping label and bottle, form, etc. when I order the oil and filters from Amsoil. I don't know if I'm going to do this in my next vehicle. It's a pain to order the oil and filters and it's more up front cost.

    Engine Maintenance

:iagree: I do oil analysis every 7000 miles on my truck. I use Amsoil, I went 21000 miles on this oil change. Change the filter every 7000 miles after I take a sample. I also think the first 5000 miles are very important when everything is breaking in.

This winter I was trying to figure out how to polish and wax my wife's finger nails. Also used WG spray sealant on the bathroom mirror.
