Mark, How did the clear coat spray work for you, was it easy to apply? and how long did it take to cure ? Sorry for all the ?'s but I am going to be working on my brothers' severely oxidized lights, so any insights will help.

Thanks Sean, i thought so, it will be good for the minvan, but for my car i really love the glow of freshly applied wax, and the energy the car radiates after a good wash and wax....ok i am a little nuts!!!:dblthumb2:

It is my understanding that once you use opti coat it is not recommended to use a wax over it. I was considering doing this with my car but i really love to wax it.... it is my Zen moment, with three small kids and a dog and a wife i really need the time to myself. i am thinking of doing this to...

It wouldn't matter if he did have protective gear, because i would still ring his bell. What an asinine idea to sell product to people, reminds me of the street light bandits and their newspaper and water spray !!!!

not bad for a girl..:poke: As to the humidity, i live with that all yeah over here so kinda of used to it. I just drink a lot of water followed by a sip of pickle juice.:xyxthumbs:

I just spray the wd-40 onto a terry cloth and wipe away the offending wax, if it makes you feel better just tape off the paint right Above just in case.

some one else on this forum suggested to use WD-40 to remove the wax from plastic. It works real well for me, took the wax right off
