Optimum Car Wash, My new favorite!!

I'm a big fan of OCW myself, been using it exclusively for a few years now (besides when I'm doing a rinseless of course). I like the fact that it has no waxes/fillers to leave behind, and the blueberry scent is pleasant.

The Next REVOLUTION: The BigFoot Nano w/ iBrid Technology

This new machine looks to be nothing short of amazing! I'm already thinking of all the things I can use this on that would make life so much easier. Nice work Rupes, it looks like you've knocked this one out of the park, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

New Flex Tool XFE 7 - 15mm Long Stroke Free Spinning Orbital Polisher

Nice work and review, Mike! While I was hoping the new offering from Flex was a forced rotation long stroke DA, if this one is as solid as you say it is, I do have an AMG that I might try out this 'AMG of polishers' on!

    Tire Dressings?

I use PERL undiluted on tires, as well as various other places on vehicles since it's so versatile. I like the way it looks, and it has shown me good longevity as well.

    Spouse wants a new car

Good to hear he's not going with black. After having 3 black cars at one time (still have 2), there's a reason my AMG is silver!

    The Original Kozak Cloth

jrock- I really do think you should try a rinseless with ONR once if you haven't before. I'll be honest, I was very skeptical of it myself when I first heard of it, but it cuts way back on time/water when you're just doing a maintenance wash and works fantastic.

Review - Blackfire Interior Products (Interior Cleaner, Interior Protectant, Leather Conditioner)

Good review. I use the BF Interior Cleaner and Protectant myself, I feel both of them do a really good job. I also like how they're both safe on almost anything, which is a big plus with finicky interior surfaces like in my AMG.

    The Original Kozak Cloth

I used one once about 10 years ago... you just take the cloth out of the package and wipe the car with it. It smelled a bit funny if I recall- it was dry cloth that had an oily feel to it, but worked OK on a lightly soiled car. I feel that a standard or ONR wash does a lot better job, and has a...

    IRON X or TRIX

I prefer TRIX myself, but that's mostly due to my area... 9/10 vehicles I detail have both tar and iron in/on the paint, so it's easier/faster to hit them with TRIX to take care of them both.

    Hmmmm..Not my best decision

I know where you're coming from here, my Chevelle is a sunny-weather-only car... mostly because black is horridly difficult to keep clean. This does remind me of an In:Out I saw years ago in Car Craft Magazine- In: Getting the second scratch in your new paint, and realizing it's just a car and...

Great review OP! I have been wanting to pick some of Drew's wax up, but keep forgetting for some reason. Good looking Firehawk as well!

anyone useing megs # 26 liquid wax

^This X2. I have used this wax for many years, and although BFMS is my go-to wax nowdays, I will use liquid #26 every now and again. I find that it also gives the paint a great feel to it when gliding your hand across it, a buttery-smooth feel. I have yet to find another wax or sealant that...

    "New" Adam's Polisher

To bring about another perspective, I wonder if perhaps by their statement to stay away from the PC, if they meant the PC rotary (or any other rotary), rather than the 7424XP? This would make more sense to me than anything else.

    Any Station Wagon Fans?

About 8 years ago, I had an '83 Malibu wagon, which I still miss. It was originally black, but was painted a very nice bright metallic emerald green color. I got it with the original wheezing 305, and promptly built and put in a 350/TH350 combo (with heads/cam/nitrous/many other upgrades), it...

Another Flex 3401 vs Rupes 21 Comparison

Awesome review, it's nice to see these compared side-by-side instead of having to sift through reviews on one or the other. I'm a bit of a tool junkie myself, so I'll probably just end up getting both in the end

For Manual Drivers, I thought this was funny!

Good thread here! 3 of my vehicles are manual, and one is automatic (my D/D T/A). To me, it's a give-and-take situation when it comes to trans choice. Guess which one cuts the quickest times at the dragstrip and is also best in heavy traffic? Automatic. Which ones are more fun to drive, and give...

    Cquartz Finest-link broken?

I do believe you can only purchase CQ Finest if you're trained by CarPro as an authorized Finest professional/dealer. I'm sure others will chime in that might know better, but I believe this is the case, as I'm sure it has a certain application method/process in order to achieve the best results.
