    Fire Hose Nozzle -- Broken?

The nozzle has full flow with no obstructions. I think it is water pressure. Do you know any places where the water pressure regulator might be located so I can adjust?

    Fire Hose Nozzle -- Broken?

I had just received a shipment in today from Autogeek, and in it was their Fire Hose Nozzle that I ordered. Upon attaching it to my garden hose, I noticed that it did not work anywhere close to what the web page suggested. I had expected the spray ability to be "from a strong jet to a gentle fan...

    Home made paste wax??

An idea just occurred to me: Is it possible to make my own paste wax? I am thinking of combining 6oz of carnauba flakes with 1 oz of turpentine and 1 oz of coconut oil. Would this be viable in any way? Or is there no guarantee of it being grit free and such OR would it just plainly not work. In...

    Foam vs Microfiber Applicator

    Flex 3401 vs 3403

Thanks to everyone to the responses. You were all VERY helpful:applause: Since all I want to do is maintain a finish - removal of only the everyday wear-and-tear cobweb swirls / some paint sealant / some waxing - I think I will go with a DA. Now if I can ask another question: seeing as the Flex...

    Foam vs Microfiber Applicator

I have always been a user of liquid wax, but I wanted to try something else. So I picked up a tub of Meguiars GC Carnauba wax. I got it seeing as it seems to be a poor mans Souveran for those who don't mind waxing every few weeks - which I don't. Now getting to the point: The wax came with...

    Flex 3401 vs 3403

Sorry about that. No swirls would be preferred, but not important. The big thing is that they are not SUPER obvious. I live in Washington and it drizzles all the time - and for some reason especially after I just washed the car. I am just don't really want to go through the effort of maintaining...

    Flex 3401 vs 3403

:dblthumb2:Thanks for the wonderful article!:dblthumb2: I guess I need to learn to use the search function a bit more... I think I have decided on the Makita 9227 C. Do you know if I can apply wax or sealants it?

Adding more clear coat to my car?

Thanks for the info.:dblthumb2: But I guess I wasn't very clear with the question: Is it possible to extend/add any clearcoat(or clearcoat equivilant) to my car without having to use a paint booth or a professional painter -- Is there anything that would apply easy such as klasse that would add...

Adding more clear coat to my car?

Is it possible to add any clear coat to my paint job? I am looking to do this without having to go to a paint booth or anything. I am not looking for a sealant, but rather a true clear coat: something that I could polish for example. If it is not possible, how many times could a clear coat...

    Flex 3401 vs 3403

As the title suggests. Which one would be best for mild paint correction, waxing, polishing, and general light work? And in addition: would this(FLEX L3403 VRG Lightweight Circular Polisher 5.5 inch Pad Kit, FLEX Rotary Polisher Kit, ceramic paint polish kit, 5.5 inch foam pads, Lake Country,)...

    Dot 3 vs 4 vs 5.1

'Makes sense. Basically just stick with what the manufacturer recommends because the brake system may not be able to handle the chemical composition of a different fluid. Correct?

    Dot 3 vs 4 vs 5.1

I understand that I cannot use dot 5 - but isn't dot 5.1 different? Correct me if I am wrong, but dot 5 is silicone, while dot 3, 4, and 5.1 are glycol based. Seeing if the latter of the group are all glycol based - shouldn't they be compatible? Or is there another underlying reason...
