I've found that many times the "sling" comes from a bad application technique. Try to work in smaller amounts of the product with multiple coats/passes and avoid the top recessed thread portions of the tire where product can seep into and sling later until after the bottom and middle sections...

I would simply return the car if you can still do that and get something else without all the added work this purchase will cost.

So generally speaking, a coating will provide a high gloss appearance versus a wax which will be more of a wet look with maybe more depth. I realize this is an individual preference, but I prefer the high gloss personally. What about sealants?

I understand a paint coating will last much longer, but if the surface preparation is done properly, will a paint coating produce superior shine, gloss and depth over a high quality wax or sealant? Please share your thoughts!

For compounding I use the Griot's with the 5 inch backing plate and a microfiber pad or orange pad. There's much better correction with the 5 inch versus the 6.5. For polishing I use the 6.5.

Try using a claybar after spraying it and the windshield with IPA (rubbing alcohol). It works great.
