Light scrathes in aluminum door sill

Any way to hide or minimize them? The aluminum has a coating on it so I can't get the aluminum polish to bite.

What to use after compounding with WG Uber?

That's a great point......thank you! I just did a white car and did not really notice much difference but I kind of felt I should use a finishing polish since it's so hard to really see what's going on with a white car even with the sun.

What to use after compounding with WG Uber?

WG Uber is awesome! My question is what to use as the final polish? I've used GG Machine Polish 3 and CG V38 using a DA with good results but I am now out of both so it's time to place an order. I was thinking about going with WG Finishing Glaze or Menzerna SF4000 but I'm open to anything else...

    Uber vs Swirl Remover

WG Uber works amazingly well, even by hand for areas that can't be polished with a DA. It has no dusting and after a few passes wipes off easily seconds. It's has to be the best compounding product I have ever used. With a 5 inch pad, it gives you rotary results from a DA.

    Klasse all in one

Opps sorry, I meant after a glaze. So the order would be polish, glaze, Klasse, then Sealant.

    Klasse all in one

Would it be alright to use Klasse all in one after applying a sealant? The product description says it lightly cleans oxidized paint without any abrasives. I just want to make sure I'm not removing the sealant with this product. I have just enough to do one car and I'm trying to get rid of...

If you are not going to polish, then just do an IPA wipedown. 1/2 distilled water, and 1/2 IPA.

My first Audi, and it was a beast! S6 Correction, Opti-Coat, and Interior Detail

Wow! Awsome work and great pictures and narrative. Two questions, had the owner requested a complete multi-step detail where cost was not an issue, what would you have done as far as the exterior? Would you also include Opticoat in that regiment?

All I can say is that is one of the most dramatic transformation I have seen in a long time. Great job and thanks for taking the time to share with us. You and your sister worked your butts off and I know just how much work that was having done it myself. Your determination, dedication, and...

Next I cleanded the door, hood, trunk jambs. I also dressed the wheels. Here is the finished car after 32 hours of work. I would really appreciate any constructive criticism and what I could have done better, differently, or more efficiently.

I next used Manzerna's Finishing Glaze 115C and the Manzerna Poly Lock Polymer Sealant. I used Griot's Red Pads to apply them both. The shine and reflection was really good! The final step was a coat of Pinnacle Souveran Wax. The Manzerna Sealant was increadibly easy to work with, both to...

    Jaguar XF Complete Detail

I used the Griot's Garage Dual Action Orbital Polishers. I used both the 6 inch and the 3 inch DA's. I also used a swirl finder light to identify problem areas. To polish, I used Griot's Orange Pads and Hex-Logic Orange Pads from Chemical Guys. The back trunk area had several badly scratched...

I then pulled it in the gargage and clayed it while it was wet. I used Griot's Garage Spray Wax as my clay lubricant. As you can see, the car had a significant amount of contamination. The debris you see in the clay was after only doing the hood! Next, I taped off all of the areas I did not...

Next the car was rinsed with water and foamed down with a foam gun. I used Dawn Dishwashing Soap to remove the wax and other debris on the finish using the two bucket method with a microfiber wash sponge.
