I'm thinking of getting the Aztec hot rod extractor because of the price, I don't have over $1000 to spend on one. Anyone have problems with the Aztec? I've read the Mytee Lite 2 has a lot of problems with pumps, and what not, people having them replaced 2-3 times, etc.

What are you using now?

But the VX5000 is only a steamer unit, right? I would have to get an extractor to do what I want to do, which is mainly, carpet (auto/home). On top, I would get a cheap steamer.

Why did you buy both? I see that the VX5000 gets the water almost 100 degrees hotter, does that mean its more efficient? Or is the 200 degrees from the Aztec Hotrod sufficient enough for any carpet stains, etc? Thanks
