    Removing tiny pits in windshield

I followed mike's tips on polishing glass and removing tiny pits from the windshield in attempt to undo what a salt truck on the highway did to my glass over the winter. I have thousands of little chips all over my window and I tried to polish them out with a rotary with carpro Rayon pads and...

    Klasse AIO/sealant on painted undercarriage?

I usually use simple green, could that be part of the problem? If so, do you have any other recommendations?

    Klasse AIO/sealant on painted undercarriage?

Good point, I'm just hoping to make it shiny and give me some piece of mind knowing that there's *some* protection on it. I usually wash every week or 2 including underbody (well, at least apc spray down followed by pressure washer) in the winter anyway so I'm not overly concerned about the salt.

    Klasse AIO/sealant on painted undercarriage?

That does look good! Painting isn't really in the question for me because is a fairly new BMW (2013) and something about taking fresh paint to the undercarriage of a newish car doesn't seem right in my head (plus its just a little chalky/oxidized, nothing serious -no rust or anything, just lack...

Are all carnauba wax the same?

Collinite 476s, tough to apply and remove (make sure to use a damp foam applicator), but shine is excellent and durability is better than most sealants, I'd say 6 months minimum on a DD stored outside.

    Klasse AIO/sealant on painted undercarriage?

Does anyone have any opinions on what I can expect from using klasse AIO on faded black painted metal underbody components? Would it remove the oxidation and protect from rust? What about topping the klasse AIO with the klasse sealant on the undercarriage? I've tried chemical guys bare bones...

One step light correction for BMW alpine white

I have a BMW X3 F25 in alpine white that I've buffed out once before with megs ultimate polish and a white LC CCS pad on a Griots 6 inch DA a little over a year ago. The cars paint was in overall in excellent condition (just some water spots, very light scratches and swirls etc.) and this combo...

Should I move my detailing products inside?

I keep mine in my garage, never had a problem, then again it never really drops below 40 in there even on the most bitter cold days.

    Polishing undercarriage parts?

I'll try to take some soon, I'm a college student with my car parked outside so it would certainly stir up some confusion with people wondering what the hell I'm doing. Also, I have some BareBones on it now so it's pretty shiny. I'll take some after i wash it next time and remove all the...

    Polishing undercarriage parts?

I always make an effort to clean the underside of my car with every wash. This either involves me getting underneath and scrubbing with a daytona wheel brush or just spraying it down with simple green or flash brown royal, letting it sit and pressure washing it off. I've been doing this for the...

Collinite longevity? Can 915 really last longer than 845?

I use 476s on my BMW, I usually re wax every 6 months out of habit but the car never actually needs it. It's garaged and I use spray wax frequently so under those conditions I honestly feel this wax could easily last over a year, probably more. It's amazing! Pain in the ass to apply though

    Best Wheel Cleaner

I'll stand up for mothers, your guys reflections line spray wax, leather care, etc. are some of my favorite products. Metal polishes are good too! I am a fan of meguiar's polishes and collinite waxes, but I've never really tried any mothers stuff in that line. (Although I don't think you can...

    Polishing/sealing glass questions

Thanks, the ceriglass is probably what I was missing. That should work ok with the griots DA and glass pads right? Also I guess that even properly polished glass will not bead water without a sealant, am I correct?

    Polishing/sealing glass questions

I had some wiper scratches on the far left side of my windshield as well as some water spots ( got hit with sprinkler) that I wanted to polish out, so last week I got some griots 6" glass polish pads, put them on my griots DA and used some Meguiar's ultimate compound to try and smooth everything...
