So 'only' 19 of them here and it just rained so they were brought inside. I got a very blurry picture of the bag of keys thinking it is pretty rare to have that many keys in one bag. The cars were being washed - with Armor All products of some sort. That is all for now.

You could. If I wanted her to be a client (good fleet of cars, high possibility of a referral to a dealership, I would gently follow up later with a "we had scheduled an appointment on Monday did you need to reschedule (even though it is a past date)?" You could even tack on the cancellation...

Given that they are bumps it is most likely above surface bonded contaminants as Mike Phillips describes them. I would start with a clay and clay lubricant on a small section of them. See if they come up. If not you might need to step it up to an IPA solution.

Ok so here is the much delayed update. I sprayed the tires, slightly dampened my tire brush, swiped the face of the tire and then let it dwell for the 30 seconds. After rinsing here are the photos of the two tires:

I would start with some clay and quick detailer spray or clay lubricant. See how this does on an inconspicuous spot. Clay can mar the paint a little bit but in my book it is less of a risk than using a fingernail/paint thinner (no disrespect to LEDetailing). You might also try a diluted IPA...

I have approached my XC90 the same way. I can't imagine finding a time to do the entire car in one day or two, what with a full time job and two young kids, and so I do it panel by panel when possible. I clay the panel that I am going to do and polish and reseal afterwards. If I have time to...

Thanks. I found some on eBay but am always a little skeptical on the cheapest ones and the next step up was in the $300 plus range. I'll check again. I also have no frame of reference for the brands. I'll check that link. Thanks everyone.

Probably too recent of a car to have clear coat failure or oxidation. Pictures will help indeed.
