Need advice: Adam's Edgeless Utility vs PakShak Silver Surfer

If anything that's how I would describe the PakShak. It's more woven than fibers sticking straight up. Sorry for the lack of proper terminology... Any chance you could post a closeup pic of the Adam's? I would greatly appreciate it. :cool pics:

Need advice: Adam's Edgeless Utility vs PakShak Silver Surfer

I absolutely love the PakShak Silver Surfer for compound/polish removal. The Adam's Edgeless Microfiber Utility Towel appears to be the same, just a darker shade of gray. And I can get a better deal through Adam's. Has anyone used both? Can you tell me if they are truly the same? The PakShak...

    Need microfiber cleaner advice

I've been using a small amount of All Free and Clear, and I mix in some MF detergent, and usually some vinegar. I was under the impression the MF detergent was supposed to help keep the MF soft and absorbant, and maintain it's dirt attracting properties, but I suppose that could all be BS.

    Need microfiber cleaner advice

Good to know! I was just looking at that one since it's one of the least expensive I've seen. MF towels mostly, but I will be doing pads as well. Btw, nice car! :)

    Need microfiber cleaner advice

Wow I id not expect such fast responses, thanks! Btw, Just02896, have you used OPC for other tasks as well? I've been looking for an APC to replace Simple Green in my arsenal.

    Need microfiber cleaner advice

What is the best bang for your buck as far as microfiber cleaning? I have been using Griot's MF and pad cleaner, but I want to try something else. I've been looking at the DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator, but it seems pricey, especially considering I separate my MFs into 3 loads. What do you all...

    Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener - I'm sick of it

Yeah I think I'll just put it on Craigslist for a few bucks. The super market is a little different that straight up inhaling stuff or having it blow back from the sprayer onto my skin, but I see your point.

    Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener - I'm sick of it

Honestly, I always suspected it had to do with the car wash or his history as a chemist. Somehow I never translated that to real life and the chemicals I use all over my vehicle. It comes of easily, but it's more of an indicator of the larger problem of using something that harsh. I forgot to...

    Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener - I'm sick of it

Nah, just the stock brakes. Right, I'm never purposely spraying the rotors, but I mean the thing has spokes, not hub caps, so it's going to get on there. I only experience this with this cleaner. I was floored the first time I stepped back and saw it. Thought I ruined my car. I'm glad they...

    Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener - I'm sick of it

Oh no I wasn't taking it like that. I was just feeling embarrassed that I made that mistake, especially since it could actually affect my health. I should have been more careful. Luckily, I usually sat back a couple feet when spraying, so hopefully I didn't inhale too much.

    Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener - I'm sick of it

Well now I feel embarrassed. I only used gloves with it a couple times, but I don't think I got much of it on my hands. I never used a mask though. I've only used it a handful of times, I'd estimate less than 10 since I bought it, so hopefully I don't experience any health effects, but I'm...

    Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener - I'm sick of it

I don't know about the grabby feeling, but yeah the rest of it is spot on. No, it is causing it. This isn't a small amount of rust from moisture. and exposure to air. My disks are a nice silver color before and completely covered in rust after. This does not happen with rain, regular wash...

Plus I called Meg's about it and they said the rusting is normal. And besides, that was only one point I made. Anything that corrosive can stay the hell away from my car.

Man the deals out there have been lacking lately. I guess spring has sprung and those corporate bsrds know demand is up. Well here's a couple I saw recently... Advance Auto Parts: I know it's no $0.10 gallon, but a deal nonetheless. Wally World: I picked up like 4 of the purple because I'm...
