Exactly! If you want the swirls gone, you might have to after them with a rotary buffer and more aggressive products. Or, you may want to just leave them as they are, and fill them with a glaze.

1. Yes. 2. Pretty durable on it's own, but topping it really provides outstanding durability. 3. 501 is the Marine version of 105. IMHO, it cleans better, and lasts longer.

This ones easy... Duragloss 501... hands down! Stuff cleans like you wouldn't believe, and holds up on it's own extremely well. I bet it would be a great foundation for Opti-Seal.

Yep, #7 is essentially a layer of oils for gloss enhancement and the temporary filling of imperfections. It is made to be used under Tech wax (or other carnauba's).

Here's my response... Not sure if Meguiar's has it right or wrong with their definition of polishes, but I can tell you this... there are no cleaners or abrasives in #7... period! :D

No problem budman3! If you can do that kind of work with a rotary, I don't see you having any problems using a Flex.

Budman, Anything the PC can do, the Flex can do... only faster, and probably better. So, if that paint correction was done with a PC (nice by the way), then a Flex will do it. Again, with the speed turned up on the Flex, it is much closer to a rotary buffer in performance... of course, it also...

It's actually pretty simple... the Flex will correct paint imperfections easier/faster than a PC, but not quite as easy/fast as a rotary. Of course, the that makes the Flex more apt to do damage than a PC, but still safer than a rotary. You don't want it to touch vinyl, rubber, or anything like...
