    Cars from way down south!

Thanks for the pics. It's like seeing the "good side" of a Mad Max movie.

    Wolgang Uber Rinseless

Thrilling isn't it. There's nothing like the nervous anticipation of using a new product on your new black shiny baby, and the excitement (and relief) when it comes out really good. You are now hooked, brother of the black paint realm. You will be tempted to try every new product that...

    Spray Wax recommendation

I love it! It works for me. Can't beat the price. Just like their DG WaterlessWash&Wax, it cures to fantastic shine and surprising protection.

what's one product that has impressed you (lately)?

Scholl Concepts SW20 Spray Wax. Really easy on. Different look--deep, dark, rich. Very interesting. Too bad it's not readily available anymore.

    New Car for Wife

If you plan on "touching" the paint on a regular basis, including bad weather months, your plan sounds good. There may be products and plans that will allow that gorgeous color to pop a little longer between touches. What do you want to do?

    Trashcan Detailing!

:cool:Ha! I have to admit, sometimes I will wipe down the roll-out bins with the wash water after cleaning the cars. Hose it off and, depending on the wash product, good to go. Looks outstanding compared to the others on the street. It's actually how I judge the after-wash-shine of new wash...

Quick Review -- Scholl Concepts SW20 Speed Wax

Upside down--sorry Recently received a sample of Scholls SW20. Decided to try it on wife's black Volvo XC60. Wow! Nice look. Not slick. Very interesting. I will watch for longevity and behavior in weather. The image (if visible) is just after application (not cured). I had planned to do total...

    Volvo Paint - How Hard

Hmmm... Maybe that explains the "sample" of Scholl Concepts SW20 detail spray included in my last order. I included a note of my two black Volvos with the order. (Could the wise old AutoGeek being hinting at something?)

A little help with Wax longevity

I can't discuss products unless I have personally used it or know someone who has. I routinely get at least 9 months of killer looks and protection with Duragloss TTP #105 with PBA #601. On a cost-per-application basis, over a period of time, I do not see many products on your list that match it.

    Longest lasting Sealant

Symbiotic Polymers can be your friend..

    Longest lasting Sealant

You will probably have more longevity with 601/105. Let it cure .. And then top with the 601/111 for super shine and additional protection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles)wants to test my Challenger Um..NO

Hmm. Could depend on the loaner... and if they want to make a month or two of car-payments. Some dealers make offers like that to get you to drive a new model and perhaps trade when the "test" is up.

    Volvo Paint - How Hard

Thanks for the excellent info. Let us know the process that works best for you (all) on Volvo paint. I'm thinking about switching the brand of correction and treatment since I scored some high quality samples in the last couple of sales.
