Another suggestion: Wash Clay Duragloss "Squeaky Clean" to remove old wax & sealants Diluted alcohol wipe Now you can start from scratch. "Follow the Coating Manufacturer's directions" is best advice.

What sealant/wax has gotten you the longest protection (except coatings)

I assume this is a question of time and longevity. I easily get 9 months with Duragloss 601/105. Currently, my last treatment of 601/105 topped with 601/111 (Clear Coat Sealant) is going to surpass that.

Maybe my age or just practical, but, as a college student, are you planning on "touching" your car every few weeks? Or are you looking for something that looks good over time that you can enhance when you have a chance?

Which professions use high end cars?

So you mean livery businesses that depend on solid transportation for their clients above taxi cabs. That would be limousine service. In larger cities, that means higher end vehicles, not necessarily stretch.

Gonna use Duragloss 501 for the first time. Any tips?

I would make sure to also order the #601 Polish Bonding Agent. I'm getting ready to "go to the bone" on my wife's black Volvo and start from scratch. Here's what Brother Jerry at Durogloss recommended: Wash Use the claybar, then Squeaky Clean and alcohol wipe. This will pre-prep the surface...

You probably should go ahead and use the "Duragloss Squeaky Clean." That's what it's made for. It's a complete cleaner prep made with the same properties to match up with your Enviroshield. Remember, a little goes a long way. You can get it separately from the DG website. (I had the same...

Getting rid of smells, specifically in the A/C

There's an aerosol product made just to remove the mold that builds in the A/C system, but I forget the name. My Lincoln developed this problem regularly during certain times of the year. I finally sprayed a can of heavy-duty Lysol into the vents just outside (in front of) the windshield with...
