I use the thickest ones HF offers and do notice the smell you've mentioned.

I was everything together except my wheel towels as those get soiled much more than any others.

You will love it! Also hand wash, air dry.

Clean the pads often (forum search "on the fly") and don't work them too hard or long without swapping pads or letting them rest (as heat can breakdown the foam causing the pad to shred) and you should be all good!

Some may find this to be a plus since you're not "covering up" any previous LSP.

I use LC 5.5" BP with LC Flat Orange and White pads for correction. I've had good results using the HF Black pads for applying wax/sealant. The other HF pads would eventually fall apart on me.

I use just about 22oz of solution per wash for medium sized sedan.

Agreed : No one I know knows the difference. It actually took me quite some time to fully understand the differences/advantages/disadvantages between them.

+1 : agree - car actually seems cleaner when I do a RW vs 2BM. BUT my car is never that dirty to begin with.

Thanks! The car has been coated with Opti Coat Pro then topped with Hydro2. Honestly the car has never been more glossy than after using a RW. I've got UWW that I'll be interested in trying after the DP Wash and Gloss is gone.

I did my first rinseless yesterday and was blown away by the results. Car have never looked as good. Used DP Rinselesa Wash and Gloss.

I used the GD method yes, so have some solution left over to use on my wife's car. Next time I'll likely use just 1 gallon of DI water instead of 2. Used plush MFs for the wipe down and 16x16 WW from MFT for drying. Sprayed down with the leftover Eco Touch WW I picked up last month on sale...

I've been using HD on tires, wells, trim and interior (different dilutions). It's so easy to apply via spray bottle I'm not too concerned about longevity. Smells like grape jolly ranchers too.

+1 : also true for things like toothpaste

Nor chrome in my experience. To the OP - did you dilute the product at all or just use it straight?
