Two that's I've used lately were WG DGS + Meg's Gold Class Carnauba (on a blue/green Corolla) and WG DGS + DP Max Wax (on a Sedona Red BMW). Honestly I almost preferred just the look of the sealant alone on that BMW (which has an almost orange metallic flake in the red paint).

Looks like it over heated and the foam broke down. This happened to me the first time I polished a car too. Gotta let the pad cool down, or swap them out (better choice). I usually clean/rotate my pads every panel. Some pads seem to hold up better under hard use/heat than others.

How does the Meg Hyper Wash do in a foam gun?

Ironically I find blue painters tape from Harbor Freight to work really well. It's actually too low tack for real household painting chores, but just enough for auto work.

This definitely applied to me last week when I compounded my wife's BMW 135 with red metallic paint. Thought it looked awesome in garage under normal work lights , but got down close with the LED the next day and saw lots of micro marring. Gonna hit it with WG Finish Glaze and a white pad...

Another cheap option if the trim is past the point of no return is Plasti Dip. Super easy to apply via spray can. Comes in all sorts of colors including aluminum.

This, and the "look" of OC Pro are 2 reasons why I sorta regret getting OC Pro installed. One thing I do not regret is paying to get my black finish flawless before application. At least when and if I ever remove the OC I'll be starting from a good place, that is if I don't mess up my finish in...

Microfiber Tech edgeless 350gsm polish towels get my vote. Work great for polish/wax removal as well as spray wax spreading. Low nap, no lint. Also great on glass.

Kmart up here in Everett, WA closing down - lots of Meg's stuff marked down. Got car wash kits with soap, qd, spray wax and glass cleaner for $13.

Lynnwood WA Target still has some stuff left at greater than 50% off. I got the WW for $2.98.

Good to know. My car is black as well. Always looking for a deal. Will have to give UWW+ a serious look as well.
