    Help with a Leather Coating

I had opti guard applied to my leather. It has withstood dye transfer and wipes clean with a hot towel. Leather was pretty new when applied so not sure how much that has to do with it.

    Your hydro2 dilution ratio

Ha! I must! Well here's my thinking and process, and please chime in with any suggestions you all might have.. I got the OC Pro more as an extra sacrificial layer so when I go to do a light polish I'm polishing the OC and not my clear (which according to the shop that installed the OC, my...

    Your hydro2 dilution ratio

Couple sprays per panel. I do use spray wax for drying (Meg's Ultimate which I admit may be the culprit and will be switching over to Prima Hydro when my order arrives). This is all on top of OC Pro.

    Your hydro2 dilution ratio

I do, but drive around 2500-3000 miles a month here in rainy Seattle. Not finding the sheeting as great into month 2. Maybe I'm spraying it too thin.

    Your hydro2 dilution ratio

I do 4:1 with my black car, but apply it once a month as it's so easy to apply. Fine mister, spray on and almost immediately blast off with strong stream of water. No issues with application here.

Looking for a good spray wax

I find Meg's Ultimate and also Gold Class leave streaks on my car (black). GG Spray Wax is OK, smells awesome and leaves fewer streaks, but durability is questionable. Will be trying Prima Hydro next (I have OC Pro and CP Hydro2 on my ride).

    HF pads?

The HF pads don't handle heat very well. I can get about half a panel done before I swap out for a new one otherwise they loose their form and start shredding. Now I've learned my lesson and will go for higher quality stuff.

I bought a rolling seat from them over the weekend and it works great! Their DA is OK too, but I'll be upgrading sometime soon if I start detailing more.

Best way to clean fabric wheel well liner?

What about dressing for fabric liners? My Model S has these and I can get them 90% clean, but wondering if a little dressing would cover up the rest. I've tried GG Undercarriage Spray and it does an OK job. Was going to try Meg's HD at 3:1 once the GG is gone.

I've been working on family member's neglected cars until I muster up the courage to work on my ride. Learned a lot so far and family members are happy they're getting their rides polished and sealed for free!

so i tested some foaming yesterday...

CP IronX Snow Soap does foam up pretty well, but doesn't dwell too incredibly long. Has a strange smell too, but I still enjoy using it once a month in the foam gun as a maintenance wash for my coated car before applying Hydro2.
