I can't verify as my bike has custom paint, but I have been told that Harley paint is soft, so the sooner you can get some protection on it, the better. I have always used waxes/sealants on my bike, but a coating sounds like it could be the right option if your father isn't much into detailing...

You have to plan your orders accordingly. Sometime it is better to get free shipping (depending on your proximity from FL) when you order consists of mostly heavy objects, and when you order pads or other like things, a discount may be better.
