So I guess as a drying aid or QD - CCS works well... Good to hear as both 3-1 and CCS will be my first griot's products.

Has anyone used the GG Ceramic speed shine as a drying aid/ QD on top of the 3 in 1? Or are you guys just applying more 3 in 1 say every two months?

Yeah I don't have much say in the game but I've went back to aquawax from years of trying other stuff. I have some 932 here and still haven't tried it yet. I will here soon .

So what's your thoughts on Polish angel or IGL? What do they offer? I'm not too concerned with longevity since I wash the truck 1-3 weeks at most. Maybe a month at most.... Usually 1-2 weeks. But I'd like something that will still protect longer and I'll just reapply is each wash.

So I'm still teetering back and forth on protection. Ceramic requires a decent amount of prep and I don't have a garage. So the cure time might get askewed with morning dew etc. So I'm kinda ruling out ceramics. Also water spots - the truck sits outside rain or shine, water dries on it etc...

I had the G9 when it came out and it had bad vibration. I spoke with Griots and the replaced it. The new one is a bit better. Either it's a luck of the draw with how much vibration each unit has or maybe they got a bit better with manufacturing?

This is true. Im scared of coatings since I did it on my other truck but this one was bought new and 72k for a truck well isnt cheap haha. If coatings are THAT much better at maintaining paint then... Im almost ( I know I know ) at the point of paying someone to do it and let them maintain it...

I think this year Carpro MFX and P&S Rags to Riches are the new detergents. Both supposedly bring back the lost absorption from your MFs... Has anyone used them and found the above to be true? I have some that just repel water and if these detergents truly work.... Well that's money saved for...

I dont remember exactly but did you polish the paint before applying this? I'm going to polish before hand using this but just curious... I still go back and forth in a selaant or coating when I polish this time around. Im just a bit afraid of water spots with coatings, and the truck sits...

Looking at my truck yesterday, I saw a good but of hard water spots on the glass. Im not sure from what/how but yeah. They didnt come off with glass cleaner, so whats next? I have some glass restore stuff I got back in the day from one of Nick Rutters mystery boxes that he was doing - never used...

So Ive seen enough people talk about DGs 253... I think Im going to be a convert from PERL to 253 - but only if this is true... Does DG253 dry to the touch? It seemed to stay wet for a while and didnt try. I had to towel it off, which in turn obviously removed some product. Maybe I used too...

Is what you're saying, that I need to use trim sealant prior/before I apply a sealant? That would prevent staining?
