    Rv roof cleaning,coating?

IMHO Mop and Glow is a poor choice for any exterior surface for the simple reason it is designed for floors, ie. indoor use where UV is not an issue. A better choice since you say your roof is fiberglass would be a good quality RV or Marine sealant.

    Clay bar

To find out if you should clay, wash your car thoroughly then place one of those thin plastic bags from the grocery store vegetable section over your hand and slowly wipe across the surface of the car. If it feels gritty or rough then you should really consider claying, if it feels smooth then...

    Happy Cinco De Mayo!

A little known tidbit on how this day became famous, got it's name. You see Mexico was a big exporter of mayonnaise and one 5th of May one of their mayonnaise ships was struck by a torpedo and there you have it Cinco de mayo. Hope you all had a good day. Mike the recipes look great and love...

    Pad cleaning?

I agree and I do not feel my method is bashed. I just wanted to clarify and make clear to others that the powdered versions can be used safely if properly mixed. Contrary to what PaulMys said I will NOT be coming after you and him for that matter with my "big a$$ Dually Ram". He is always...

    Pad cleaning?

To each his own of course, but consider on another pad cleaning thread, of two products Mike Phillips recommends, one is a powdered product. I think your point would be better stated and helpful to others is to point out the potential for scratching the paint if not properly dissolved. I have...

    Pad cleaning?

While it is true what you say, one just has to insure the powder is fully dissolved and not too difficult to do with hot water and thorough agitation. I have used powder pad cleaners for years and never had a problem.

Best way to clean finishing pads

I would use a dedicated pad cleaner. I prefer the powdered form mixed with water and let them soak followed by using a pad cleaning brush to work out the excess polish and or wax/sealants. I find it helps to have a bucket with the solution on had at the start of the job to let each pad soak...

    Pad cleaning?

I like the powder versions that are mixed with water so I can soak the pads as they become loaded, then scrub them with a pad brush when done. The ones I have used are McKee's & Blackfire which have worked well. Also after thoroughly scrubbing and rinsing, I throw them in the washing machine.

Looking for a good interior detailer and uv protection spray

I have used GG Interior cleaner & Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel. Both have been very good, I especially like the Ultima. For UV Protection I use Aerospace 303, but thought I would try the DP version of interior cleaner.

Pads? CG hex or Lake Country.

Nothing wrong with GG pads with the correct technique and choice of polish, AIO depending on level of correction required. I have used both GG and Lake Country and both with very good results and have yet to see a difference between the two.

    Griot's Garage BOSS Creams: Explained

In the video posted by the OP, which I have seen on the GG site before, it mentions the sealant can be used as an AIO, has anyone here done so? What are your thoughts? Which pads did you use? When I use up the last of my GG Polyglow I want to try the sealant and the idea it can be used as a AIO...

Dear Abby: Wax Polish Remover - Need Help

I am giving the GG Boss a try sir Paul. Thank you sir. I had been under the understanding it was necessary to remove any residual polishing oils t get the best application results from any waxes or sealants. I am so glad to know this may not be necessary as I would like to get this done...

Dear Abby: Wax Polish Remover - Need Help

Normally I have used a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol after polishing and before applying a wax or sealant, so when I ordered the supplies I was out of for my full detail project before the corona virus, I did not order a wax polisher remover. Now with the Corona virus in full swing...
