    Advice for first coating?

I applied CQuartz UK and have been happy so far with the results, so definitely worth looking into. Having said that there have been a lot of positive feedback on this forum of the Wolfgang Uber coating and since I have used the WG Sealer & Fuzion wax with excellent results, I may go to WGU...

    Wolfgang Uber Coating

Thanks. On my previous truck I applied both the WG sealant & Fushion and the results were stunning. Normally I would have only applied the sealant and would not spend the premium $$$ on a wax, but curiosity got the better of me with what several folks were saying about the combo. After...

    Wolfgang Uber Coating

Looks great nice work, congrats on the new vehicle. I am very curious about the WGU coating. In April when I got my new truck after proper prep, I applied CQuartz UK. It was easy to apply and I was happy with the look and so far at a point where I would be re applying a sealant, it is still...

    AIO & Interior Cleaner Question

Thank you both for the helpful replies, you have addressed my concerns about an AIO as a do-it-all. Sounds like an AIO might work for me for the most part since I tend to keep after all my detailing needs, so it is rare when things get real dirty. Looks like I should keep some single purpose...

    AIO & Interior Cleaner Question

I have been reading threads here on AIO's and how they can be used for everything from engine bay cleaning to interior depending on appropriate dilutions. This appeals to me as I would if possible, like a "do-it-all" product. Since I have been happy with other Optimum products, I thought I...

I'm a little intimidated about using my 3401

You have been given good advice and links above. I'll admit to being a little intimidated by the Flex 3401 prior to purchasing it and felt some of the same concerns you have. I found Mike Phillips book helpful to understand how to approach and use the machine, I also watched the video by Mike...

Flex 3401: A Machine of Beauty

Cool. My GG6 is now fitted with the 4" plate & pads for tight areas. You are welcome. Yes your help was appreciated and thanks again. I am really looking forward to using it some more. This is what I have done. I had the GG 3" which I as others have found is under powered and of little...

Flex 3401: A Machine of Beauty

Yesterday I finally used my new Flex 3401 and all I can say is wow, why did I wait so long? Although I am not a pro detailer, I have a full size 1-ton dually truck, a 28' TT (soon to be traded in for a large 5th wheel) and my wife's Prius to maintain. Also, I have a defective front cap on my TT...

Difference Between Black & Red Pads for Applying Wax

Descriptions of the black & red pads both indicate suitable to apply waxes and sealants, although descriptions of the black also indicate polishes as well, so my question is, under what circumstances would one choose one over the other? Specifically using a Flex 3401 with hybrid pads. thank you.
