Hmmmm....good point. Most car side mirrors are plastic, but wasn't sure if clearcoat is/was used on them. I'm just afraid that if I keep rubbing, I will take off more paint and they will end up looking a much lighter shade of red than the rest of the car. Is this a valid concern or should I...

I've put a popsicle stick into a keyless chuck drill and used that before. Seems to work. If you need something longer, do the same with a sliced up paint mixing stick. Just watch out for splinters. :)

I guess the real question is, whether single stage or clearcoat failure, it it OK to try and polish out the oxidation and water spots without damaging them further?

Langka looks much less intimidating. Although, it seems a bit gimmicky. It has mixed reviews. I wonder what's in the "blob eliminator"? It seems like some type of paint remover. If I could find that chemical alone, I could probably do the same thing without buying that "kit".

That is downright amazing. Do you think this approach would work for rock chips on the hood? My daughter's car has an A LOT of fron end chips. I have never seen so many. Looks like a bunch of white specs all over the front end of the car. I don't like the cratered look of touch up paint, but...

What foam pads are you guys using with the D151 with success? I have been looking at trying some D151 but only have MF pads (cutting and finishing), so I was looking to pick up a couple of the white LC foam pads. Would those be aggressive enough for minor swirls but finish down nicely? What...

OK, did not know that. Although, I wouldn't necessarily be doing a like for like comparison, but moreso to determine which product works better for my purposes. Similarly to how I had planned to eventually compare D151 to D301 even though I know they are not the same elvel of aggressiveness...

I would like to try the 3 in 1 and compare it to Meguiar's D301. I love the concept of the AIO product with a DA for home amateurs like myself, and this being a new offering, and from Mezerna, looks promising.

When you put as much time and effort as you have here into such a painstaking process, it really does bring back "connection" with the car, doesn't it? Well done! Looks beautiful. I wish I had the time and patience to do that to each of my cars.
