On my black non-metallic car a waffle such as cobra guzzler does leave marring no matter how gentle I was with it. So far I get good results with the cobra purple towel (600) and detailer. I usually use Meguiar's Final inspection or Pinnacle Crystal Mist.

I would apply on top....you will be pleased with the result, especially if you have a dark car. I did that a few weeks ago on my black paint (non-metallic) and it looked more glossy than the DGPS alone.

I have a black non metallic CTS and the paint is very sensitive to hazing and marring. What worked well for me so far is the Wolfgang Finishing Glaze and Malco Nano Care Polishing Creme by using either Lake Country white (polishing) or gray (finishing) pads.

Shake it for a good 30 secs until it has a nice yellowish uniform appearance. Mine was sitting for about 6 months and was all separated. Was good to go after about 30 secs of good shaking. cheers

The ultimate wash is not a good product. The Gold Class is richer and better in every aspects. Much better to use the Gold Class then followed by a QD or QW rather than just the Ultimate wash.

I like the Pinnacle cleaning ability based on tests against Zymol and Swissvax. I never really let the car getting dirty that's why I'm satisfied with Pinnacle. Swissvax is better but very expensive (although it requires less per gallon) and doesn't clean much while I feel Zymol doesn't do anything.

My favorite is the Pinnacle Shampoo for the smell cleaning ability and brings great gloss
