    Car dryer

Flooding and leaf blower are my preferred method. The sheeting action of flooding removes a lot of water from the panels and the leaf blower quickly gets rid of the rest. Very little left on the paint which reduces the need to touch the paint with towels (read a lot less marring and micro...

Newbbie Hobbist - want to get started

I doubt that the threads match that of a Flex because a flex doesn't use a threaded spindle back plate. It uses a proprietary system backing plate. Flex and now Lake Country are the only ones that make backing plates for the Flex.

Just bought a black car , ughhhhhh ... Whats the best way to maintain ?

I did not take it as you being smirk. I was answering your question and sometimes the tone of the written word is in the readers mind set. I have a Crimson Black vehicle. It's a color that is black at night, purple on gloomy days and dark metallic red in the bright sun. It is not chameleon...

Just bought a black car , ughhhhhh ... Whats the best way to maintain ?

What I am saying is that if you have to touch the paint, do it with high quality microfibers not the autozone stuff. Do a search on it. However with dark colored cars especially black some of the ways to avoid touching the paint is to dry using sheeting to help dry after a wash and finish with...

Just bought a black car , ughhhhhh ... Whats the best way to maintain ?

First off, nice car. The microfibers that you are using are marring and instilling scratches in your finish. Get quality microfibers. The key to keeping up a great finish is to touch the paint as least as possible. Wash your car using the 2 bucket method, start your drying process by...

    Claying question

Used Megs claying kit yet the surface of my vehicle still feels rough. Is claying like polishing? Start with the least aggressive and work your way up in aggressiveness? Everyone talks about claying but just like polishing under door handles not many discuss tips or strategies in these areas.

Are you like this?? Car crazy

I know what you mean. Must be a Cadillac thing. Seems like the more expensive the car, the less the owner cares about it. There is an Audi R8 in my area and I have never seen it clean.

Are you like this?? Car crazy

If you ask me I'm normal..Ask my girlfriend and it's a different story. I watch the weather and wash and wax. If it rains, I wait until it stops and then run outside and rinseless wash. When I drive around all I do is analyze and judge the vehicles around me.

    quick vent

I meant to include that in my response. The making it to the maximum size you need is for Raster type images. You can shrink Raster images without problems but if you enlarge you will distort the image. Vector images you can make any size and enlarge or shrink as needed without distortion or...
