That depends on whether you want a DA or a Rotary. I have the DA and I couldn't be happier. Works great and is not as slow as some make it seem. The only thing I don't like is that there is no brush option and the only option for smaller pads is the edge system and 4" pads.

I am using a flex with Menz FP. It cleaned some of it but didn't really shine it up. I have seen those shine after being done. I was using a blue LC pad after using a white with 3m Perfect-it II Rubbing compound.

How do I take care of this problem. The expedition I am working on looks like this:

What did you use for the oxidized black trim. I am working on a black Expy and it has the same problem. I used 3m Perfect-it II rubbing compound and Menz final polish and didn't get it out.

The B&D I was talking about is the buffmaster Model 6138 which is the same as the Dewalt. I was going to have you pick me one up at that price.

What was the model #? The Dewalt 849 are rebadged B&D rotaries.
