Will opti-coat bond and work well over properly prepped marine gel coat? If so this could save significant time and money as gelcoat oxidizes so easily.

I think I'll take the plunge this will be great for my daily driver. I suspect most of us may find ourselves wanting to polish out swirls and defects before this product wears out.

I've always found 845 easy to apply and remove. Even applying by hand and a little too thick it isn't difficult to remove. It's 476S that will bite you if you apply it sloppily.

Foam isn't the reason I use a foam gun. I use it to prelube the areas I'm about to wash. I also will use it as a presoak when a vehicle is really dirty.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I use mineral spirits to help remove adhesive and double sided tape. Per Mike Phillips it's safer than IPA on paint.
