Pinnacle Black Label Leather Coating durability

Greetings Y'all: I have a 2016 Lexus IS200t F-Sport which I took delivery about 15 days ago (pearl white exterior/Black Leather Interior). I applied/cleaned the leather/vinyl with the Pinnacle Black Label Hide-Soft Leather Cleaner and followed up with the Pinnacle Black Label Leather & Vinyl...

    Headlight Restoration Products

I see there are several available options(brands) of these type of products. Some that use sanding discs, and some that rely on a pad and compound. The headlight lenses on my car are not yellow but they are rough, pitted and have some crazing. I understand that crazing cannot be removed fully...

Will sanding remove this from headlights?

Thank you all for the feedback. I am looking at my options. If the dealer does not budge I would have to try removing them myself, and then apply a protective coating like the ones mentioned here.

Will sanding remove this from headlights?

Thanks for the feedback. Dealers are strange, BMW USA pays for this, but they behave like its coming out of their pockets.

Will sanding remove this from headlights?

Thanks for all the responses. The dealer offered to do a headlight restoration since they diagnose the failure is not a defect. (whatever that means)

Will sanding remove this from headlights?

This is from my 2011 BMW. The headlights have these "mini cracks" all over. Will a headlight restoration kit address this? Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Got a new steamer and need some help

I use a steamer on both leather (BMW Alcantara) and Vinyl (MB Tex) wrap a terry towel on the brush attachment of my steamer. Spray the surface with Meguiar's APC and steam it. I follow up with a leather conditioner. Never had a problem.

I wash with Meguiar's super degreaser, scrub with a Mother's fender brush, then use hyper dressing 4:1 for the finishing touch.

    Paint protection film

Seems to be the way to go. From what I've been able to research online it should require a heat gun and some pulling. If any glue is left over I can use Meguiars body solvent to remove. (At least that is my plan)

    Paint protection film

Thanks for the replies. Not sure if their is a useful life on paint protection film, but that is where my idea of removing it came from(its 15 years old). I will start working from the back forward on the car, that way I can still think about it.

    Paint protection film

Hello; I'm new to the forum, but have been lurking for a while. I have a 1998 BMW Roadster which I will be using a Rupes polish to remove swirls and water spots from the paint finish. My car has this paint protection film on the front part of the hood and bumper as well. Do I polish it or do I...
