Just an update: I've used the UWW+ a few times now and I have to say its fantastic! Seems to have more emulsification / cleaning power than the CG's Ecosmart RU, and it buffs off really easy to a high gloss and super slick feel. Haven't tried the Pinnacle yet, so the Ultima is my new favorite...

Yes, you're good to go. If you were using bigger pads like 6"-7.5", you'd probably want to switch to the bigger counterweight.

DG901 seems to be the consensus here, but if you can't find it OTC in your area, I agree with the above. I've used the TW Ice also and it does have good suds and seems to have VERY good "lubricity" (to steal a term from Larry Kosilla).

Get yourself a bottle of Menzerna FG400 to try out. You'll be amazed at the results.

I've used FG400 with only foam pads so far, but I have used it on different types of foam: CG Hex-Logic & LC Hydrotech pads. Worked awesome with both on Mercedes paint.

FG400 is the KING for harder clear coats.
