Totally agree! I've been using them for about 6 months and it's made drying the car so much easier.

    Shop-vac hose replacement suggestions

I agree. The orange hose is part of the auto detailing kit 1-1/4" diameter and 10' long. It works so much better than the bigger hose.

    Streaky Spray Wax help!

Cool humid conditions can make drying/buffing off product more difficult. I can really tell in the winter. When I bring my cold car into a heated shop to wash the first panels take a couple of passes to dry but by the end when the paint has warmed up it's one and done. What kind of towels are...

Constant bonded contaminates on daily driver

Mud flaps definitely help. Someone just came out with a product that you add to your soap that is supposed to boost the cleaning properties and help prevent corrosion. Sounds like an interesting product. I'd love to see AG come up with something similar.

Recommendations for backing plate and pads for my GG

If you want to stick with Meguiars the Meguiars 5 Inch DA Foam Discs are good pads. Add a couple MF cutting pads if the paint is hard and you are set.

Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

There was a big argument on another forum I am on about which side a single stripe should go. The traditionalists said it should go on the drivers side because that's the side it was put on race cars. It doesn't bother me either way. I like the graphics and wheel combo. It definitely gives the...

    The Grand Tour

I'm a huge fan of Top Gear and have high hopes for the show. I liked the first episode but thought the second was one was terrible. The celebrity bit wasn't that funny in the first episode and they continued it in second. But my biggest issue was the main film of the show. Kind of boring as was...

Review: The Big Blue Drying Towel

This! I started using the PFM towels a couple months ago and couldn't believe how much better they were than my waffle weave towels.

    opti-lens durability.

I applied Opt-lens to my headlights about 18 mo ago. The UV coating was peeling off so I sanded/polished the rest off and put on 2 coats. The top of the headlights are horizontal and there was some cloudiness on top this spring (about a year after application) and now it is very cloudy but the...

What size pads are you using? With all the curves on a motorcycle using a 3" backing plate and 3-4" pads may help.

    Question Subaru WRX Paint

I helped my brother polish his 2016 WRX and the paint was really soft. There was some light scratches and swirls and they came out with Menzerna 4500 and a white polishing pad.

Out of those three I really like the 45th anniversary OZ wheels. I'm not a fan of the first ones. They make me think grit guard
