    LSP for Weekend Only Cruiser?

Yes - YO billet honeycomb: 18x10 front and 18x12 rear. DSE rear Q-link and mini-tubbed, DSE front sub-frame, LS9 / T-56. This build took a long, long time. Just took delivery last month, in time for snow, ice, and a methodical final paint buff and cut! I’m so finicky about that, I had them...

Fat fingers on tiny iPad. Tried to hit the ‘like’ icon only, and apparently no way to edit your likes??

    LSP for Weekend Only Cruiser?

Just finished 2-stage correction on a black old-school base coat / clear coat painted hot rod. Looks better than I had expected. I will have paint film installed behind all 4 wheels, and strategically on the spoilers and front nose where rock ships are most likely to occur. Then I need to...

    Scratch Resistant Clear Coat

I wish Menzerna sold the 2400 in anything smaller than 32 oz. I’ve got one vehicle to correct - and then it’s getting ceramic coating. I note they do sell their Medium Cut Polish 2500 in a smaller size - is the 2500 a big step down in correcting ability from the 2400? Seems like the 8 oz 2500...

    Scratch Resistant Clear Coat

Struggling with correction on 2016 MB with Scratch Resistant Clear Coat. Many compounds and polishes that work flawlessly on traditional single stage and Base/Clear finishes simply do not touch the high ceramic content scratch resistant clear coat on newer Mercedes vehicles. I have used 3M SRC...

    Member’s Only ‘Swap Meet’???

Thank you, guys! That’s exactly what I had in mind. I admit I just need to spend more time on this site to explore the various topics.

    Member’s Only ‘Swap Meet’???

Just wondering what the moderators and members would think of a place on this forum for members to trade or exchange products? For example, I may have a bottle of ‘X’ that I tried and - for whatever reason - it just didn’t work for me. But that might be another members absolute favorite...

Best - softest NON-LINTING MF towel?

Thank you! I will definitely look into these - along with the Geyon Bald Wipes.

Best - softest NON-LINTING MF towel?

Hand wash with super thick MF washing sponge and blot dry with double thick MF drying towel. This brings up an interesting observation - all the metal panels ( hood, doors, roof, trunk, fenders ...) look just about as good as the day I coated them. What I have noticed is that the painted...

Best - softest NON-LINTING MF towel?

Looking for the ‘current’ best / softest MF towel that will NOT leave lint all over the paint. Particularly - what seems to be the current consensus best choice for leveling high spots as ceramic flashes? I can imagine the nightmare that a linting MF towel would cause while buffing out /...

    SiO2 Sprays and Microfiber Towels

I know that when applying a dedicated ceramic 'coating' your applicator is good for one application. Period. After the application, the coating hardens on the applicator - just like it does on your paint. But what about these new(er) SiO2 spray sealants? Do you need to discard the MF towel...

    GLE63 ///AMGs

I am very tempted to pull the trigger on Feynlab Self-Healing ceramic coating. A couple friends had it applied to their cars at a local detail shop and it is incredible. You can rub the paint with a dry terry cloth towel to deliberately introduce micro marring and then shoot it with a hair dryer...

    Liquid Seal Durability?

The GTS is sort of a garage queen, so probably not the best vehicle to test 'durability.' I typically use Wolfgang rinseless wash which is pretty mild. I also use the WG Spray Sealant as a detailer because it seams to feel slicker under the towel and flash cleaner and clearer than the WG spritz...

    Liquid Seal Durability?

PS - Wolfgang Uber Compound and Swirl Remover 3.0 work incredibly well but are SUPER 'dusty.' I used a Lake County Orange pad with the Uber Compound and the Lake County Pink pad with the Swirl Remover. I used Rupes Yellow pads with the Finishing Glaze which was zero-dusting.

    Liquid Seal Durability?

Well, with 116 views and no replies, I figured it was time for a test. I completed a 2-stage correction using Wolfgang Swirl Remover (Wolfgang Uber Compound on the troublesome spots) followed by Wolfgang Finishing Glaze on the entire car. I then did a thorough wipe down with Menzerna Top...

    Non-Linting Microfiber Towels?

Has anyone out there found a microfiber towel that does NOT lint? I have dumped too much $$$ into very expensive MF towels advertised not to lint only to have lint all over any panel the towel touches. I'm no penny pincher - I'll drop the dough no problem IF the towel doesn't leave lint all over...

    Liquid Seal Durability?

Wolfgang Convert. Dumping - trashing my entire cabinet of X-brand products and replacing with Wolfgang equivalent. Absolutely love the Liquid Seal product. So easy to apply and such sharp, clear reflections. Considering properly corrected paint and wiped down with a pre-wax cleanser or IPA, and...

SCANGRIP Sunmatch - Showing Wet Sanding Scratches and Holograms

Just to confirm, does the iview headlamp provide the same brightness and color spectrum as the scangrip hand held 'original' and is it as effective at spotting defects? I ask because the YouTube vids of the iview show it being used primarily as a general work light or for working on interiors...
