No, I haven't really had any linting at all.

Any metal polish should work fine. I would test a small area that is out of the way to make sure it doesn't do anything bad. @Bill1234. Vinegar with water I would suggest. try a small area out and see.

I used p21S polishing soap to clean my stainless steel and then Chemical Guys Metal polish to finish it all off. I'll post a couple pics off my phone for ya.
