Spray waxes or sealants as exclusive LSP?

I didn't like PNS, the application wasn't quite WOWA and I really didn't like the way the car felt afterward. BSD on the other hand, I really like that stuff and it seems it could be your LSP if used bi-weekly.

Spray waxes or sealants as exclusive LSP?

This is the route I'm going to go. I live in San Antonio so it's never cold for long. I've tried a few coatings, but decided on Optimum's Opti-Seal for my DD as it's garaged at night and I'm pretty good at keeping the car washed every week. It is a good way to try different stuff too.

I'm still confused about cut/buff/polish on white paint...

I'm not sure I agree. I recently corrected my white '14 S4 (I mentioned that on purpose...I've seen you on the 'Zine) and one of my buddies noticed right away how much better it looked after correction and protection, and it wasn't in bad shape before.

Constant bonded contaminates on daily driver

I don't have any suggestions but I feel your pain. Here in San Antonio the hard water is such a problem, if it rains and sits on my car for 24 hours I can see some spotting from it. Keeping a daily driver clean is tough and I'm beginning to think that for a daily, just do an annual or maybe...

I'm still confused about cut/buff/polish on white paint...

I think when you're doing a customer's car, you work to the correct level of diminishing returns while making sure to do the job that you quoted. As an owner of a white car, when I work on it, my goal is to correct all of the major defects, bring the level of shine up to my standards and then...

    New C43 meets Blackfire

Beautiful car and great work on her as well. I've got a soft spot for the C43. There are two problems with it: - My current car is only 3 years old - It's very much like my current car (2014 Audi S4) Big problems right?

I've got some products on the shelf and trying to decide which to use

I ended up going with Opti-Seal. The ease of application is almost impossible to beat and since it can be used regularly I think I have a better chance of keeping the car looking good and protected. The mantra of "Find what you like and use it often" really resonates with me.

I've got some products on the shelf and trying to decide which to use

Initially I really liked it. It looked good and did a nice job shedding water and dirt, but it lasted more like a sealant than a coating.

I've got some products on the shelf and trying to decide which to use

I can see the logic in this. I guess if I were to use something that gives me a weeks worth of protection, every week, then it almost doesn't matter what I use. I really appreciate all of the input from you guys. I'm leaning towards using the Opti-Seal every few months on my car since it's...

I've got some products on the shelf and trying to decide which to use

The car will be properly cleaned/deconed/polished prior to application of the LSP. I've also considered to the 105/601 combo first and using Opti-Seal as a maintenance product since it seems to be so easy to apply.

I thought about that as well, and that would certainly make me closer to being a true Autogeek.

I've got some products on the shelf and trying to decide which to use

Thanks for the input. I'm aware of the differences of the two products so I wasn't really comparing the two products as much as having slightly tempered enthusiasm for Opti-Seal. There is definite appeal in the ease of use for the Opti-Seal. My goal is the best compromise between ease of...

Awesome, thanks for the input. 1 vote for the Klasse and one for Duragloss 105/601.
