Waiting for ours to arrive now. Cant wait to use it. Even though I havent used it yet, i dont think there is a replacement for a steamer. Its the only way to deal with some interior and issues and is invaluable in truly cleaning and conditioning leather.

Whats its benefit? How long does it last? What will your market support? How much extra time does it take to apply? need to think about all these things for pricing. It doesn't matter what it costs, only what its worth.

As a pro detailing shop you'll need both. The steamer is too valuable elsewhere to be tied up handling a job an extractor would normally be used for. Granted some jobs are easier with steam, but options are good.

Not sure if this was discussed but you can polish with blacklight as a final step as opposed to just letting cure and wiping off. It does have fine abbrasives in it and the feel of the panel after polishing with it on a DA is unreal.

Isnt the more important question is does it improve your result? Saving time makes no difference if in the end you spend more time re-correcting the paint or scrubbing off spots you missed.

Anything that seals paint (and creates a bead) will do the same for glass. A spray sealant should do the trick and can be reapplied as often as desired.
