Winter Prep AIO/LSP recommendations - something yet to be discovered?

For specific swirl mark issues I use BAF/Pro Car Care Beauty Products P21 Swirl Eliminator & Polish- although for 30 years I used 3M products specifically, recently I have not been as pleased with the quality of 3M’s hand glaze. I typically do not like "combination" type products but P21 is...

Semi-formal Review of XMT 360 Spray Wax

You are very likely inexperienced inthe automotive paint restoration and application field- how do I know, that's easy, only if you used a cotton product that had synthetic threads would ever mar a surface and this particular photo was taken with both natural and UV backlighting to demonstrate...

Semi-formal Review of XMT 360 Spray Wax

"Actually it is old school. Prior to microfiber towels this is the way it was done. The downside? It does mar the surface which can be seen under direct sunlight" ok- show me the "marring" on this original oem paint! It is a daily driver too! That's the difference between old school & new...

    LSP's w/ Cquartz or OptiCoat?

I did that for many years (about 10 IIRR) until I tried the re-formulated Satin Creme......absolutely the best ($ for $) IMHO, it is made by BAF & distributed through Pro Car Care products. It is very easy to work with either by hand, orbital or buffer. It has the same acrylic hardener as the...

Semi-formal Review of XMT 360 Spray Wax

While I appreciate the review and I have tried these MFT's, I have found that 100% cloth diapers (24" x 24") doubled up are the best for washing/drying....not only in terms of price/longevity but the paint feels like it's been polished each time. FYI- the diapers must be flat fold (meaning no...

difference between a glaze and a pure polish?

I previously used 3M hand glaze for decades.....but the last batch I purchased the results were good, but not great imho..... given the price increases of 3M whole product line (which I think is insane), a rep let me try Pro # P21 Swirl mark remover & polish. now I use their Satin creme carnuba...

    Pinstripe eraser

So why did you prefer to start with the "wheel" as compared to products like 3M adhesive remover? (which softens the glues and the stripes typically lift off)

    best wax in market

Stain Creme uses amino...and you are right with the growth item but it is harvested then sent to Germany....Zaino & others purchase theirs from similar sources- the appear to have a process that is able to reduce the product to a much finer consistance and remove more what i will call...

    BMW Interior

I do most of my own mechanical work, build many a vehicle including for show....the worst I ever did was i had a truck that was to be a feature in Truckin mag, 3 days before the scheduled shoot, the clutch failed (brand new, a brand that I only used once and will never use again)....of course we...

    best wax in market

IMHO, ($ for $) is "Satin Cream" (for dark colors), it is made by BAF & distributed through Pro Car Care products. It is very easy to work with either by hand (if that's your thing), orbital or buffer. It has the same acrylic hardener as the high dollar paint sealants but it has 30% German...
