Montana Boars Hair Brush is a _______.

I bought the Montana brush awhile ago and I'm quite happy with it. Yes, it can scratch your paint just like any other thing that comes in contact with your car. If you can't stand to see it scratched, leave it in the garage. Auto geek makes a wide variety of products to remove those minor...

    If you had to...

I'd opt for not washing it at all. I bought my son a new civic back in 2002 for high school graduation. He never, ever washed it! I refused to wash it too since I was paying for it.... Long story short, he traded it in this spring on a new Acura. Being a nice guy, I decided to wash and detail...

    The Blob

Anybody have any techniques or suggestions for using the Langka chip repair kit with a tri-coat paint? I've got a diamond pearl white 2009 honda accord. I've got touch up paint that consists of a base-coat, a "mid-coat", and a clear-coat. My thoughts are to just put a thin layer of base coat...

Reappearing brown spots on horizontal surfaces?

Do a google search on "artillery fungus". I've been cleaning it off my wife's car for about a month now. As you say, if you keep it waxed and check it daily, it comes off pretty easy. Diamondite bug eraser worked for me.

Is the Langka repair kit pretty much the same process and chemicals as the Dr. Chip kit except you have to buy the OEM touch-up paint separately?

    Expert Leather Cleaning Tips

Nick, I saw in another thread that you alluded to the fact that Leather Masters products would be a good choice for coated leather. After reading the descriptions of their products, they specifically state that they are good for: "aniline and protected leathers." I'm assuming that the term...

    Mercedes Benz SLK320 AMG?????

Go check out the forum on Mercedes-Benz Forum That is where all the meaningful benz discussion occurs. They even have separate groups for each model. I've got a new 2012 C300. Love it so far (500 miles). We'll see if it lives up to its reputation.

Ok, now what do I do?

So... I washed my car, put on some deep gloss sealant and a coat of fuzion. Drove to the store and a big bug decided to die a terrible death on the front of my hood. So I removed the remains with diamondite bug eraser. Now what? Would you reseal the area and re-wax, just re-wax, or hit it with a...

Winter protection - how stupid is this idea?

SO... its 100 in the shade and I'm thinking about winter. I was gonna try Collinite 845 or the 476 paste this winter on my daily driver... What would happen if I put it on thick and didn't buff it off! After all, I really don't care how my DD looks in the middle of January, I just want to...

    Factory paint

I've seen various comments throughout the forum on factory paint. Some have thin clearcoats, some have soft paint. Since professional detailers experience a lot of different cars first hand, which manufacturers have the best paint and which have the worst?
