How To Clean Tires And Wheels Without A Hose 2018!

So after asking and looking on how to clean a tire without a hose, I decided to try a few things and make a video that shows how to do it. This method works very well and allows anyone to do it indoors or anywhere where there isnt a hose available. Hope you enjoy the video and find it helpful!

Winter wheel cleaning without a hose

lol ya you probably could skip that .. I have never removed or attempted to remove APC before applying dressing. Never any issues. Neither my car or any of my customers cars have had any troubles and the dressing stays on well. However with that being said I do believe in removing the residue...

Winter wheel cleaning without a hose

I might look into that .. however last night I got to thinking that I dont rinse off the residue from the APC I use on interiors so how important would it really be for tires? I actually tried the APC on the tire and scrubbed and then sprayed with rinseless and wiped it off. I mean the APC and...

I just need a "decent" foam gun

soooo I am going to say something weird here... no .. you dont need one. Just Spray off the vehicle with a water sprayer or better yet a pressure washer. I promise you that the pressure from the water is going to remove more than slow moving foam is going to do. Also believe it or not the water...

Winter wheel cleaning without a hose

I have been trying to figure this out as well. The rinsless wash does NOT work very well. I use wolfang uber rinseless wash. I'll spray it on the tire and either wipe with a microfiber towel or scrub with a brush first and then wipe down. However when i do this sure enough when it dries there is...

ok so I might be being a little picky here, but ....

yep have to see how it goes. I am now thinking of going over it again with the 2500 but with a white pad or something softer than the orange pad I used originally to stay away from heavy oils of the Menz 3500. Might just skip the second step all together though .. I can't decide what to do.

ok so I might be being a little picky here, but ....

ok.. so I am finally done with the polishing of my car. I used Menz medium cut 2500 with an orange pad with the Griots Boss 21. The paint looks much much better. I WAS planning on going over the whole thing with Menz SF3500 just to get it as good as possible because I am going to put a coating...

Polishing pads...how clean is clean enough??

you know what works really good cleaning pads? The water sprayer on the sink. I typically soak mine .. rinse and squeeze a few times and then I put that sprayer on high right up on the pad and start moving around the pad with it without losing contact. Comes really clean that way. Some pads are...

Aquapel, What did I do wrong?

I dont know what causes that ... but if you think thats bad try cleaning it with a microfiber and glass cleaner. I have been trying to get mine looking good for months. I have tried APC and stuff to get rid of it .. it's not working.

Which is better for a final polish?

well ... lol I am still working on it. I started with detail spray to clean the dust off. Then Iron x over the whole car, I clayed the whole thing.. twice. I decided to use menzerna 2500 medium cut with an orange pad with light pressure and about 3 to 4 passes on speed 4.5 with the Boss 21. That...

Best polish to use before ceramic coating?

Here is a thought .. what ratio of IPA should I use for a wipe down? I think the one I got mixed right now it at about 12%. I think I have seen somewhere that it needs to be at least 30% for a wipe down to remove oils.

Best polish to use before ceramic coating?

Ya they do. But I think that most panel wipes are really just IPA. I'm not sure what else they could have in there that would really make a difference. One said IPA and lubricants, which Im not that concerned about really if thats the only difference.

Best polish to use before ceramic coating?

Ok here I am again! So I have just chemically decontaminated my car and clay bar the whole thing... twice. I am about to move on to the polishing step. I haven't decided if I am going to do a two step polish or a single step like a finishing polish only. However, my question is what is the...

Which is better for a final polish?

So as the title says, I am wondering which would be the best for a final polish. I have Menzerna SF3500, HDPolish +, and the Megs M205. This is on a 2015 Honda Accord Metallic Grey paint. I first tried to go over it with the HD-Polish+ and the SF3500 first, but that didn't quite get out all...
