    Post Your Beading Shots!!!

This is on a 2013 Silverado after WG Swirl Remover, WG Finishing Glaze, Colonite 845 and 303 Graphene Nano Spray. The Graphene was an after thought to see how long it will last. In the future, I'm switching to Blackfire One and the 303 Graphene.

    Pad washer....worth it?

I've been watching some videos from a couple of years ago that AG did with Mike Phillips. I've been hearing him say he throws his pads in the washing machine. I couldn't believe it. My pads are a few years old. I use them about twice a year on two cars. After I'm done, I put them in a...

    Wolfgang Twins v Pinnacle Twins

This thread is very old, but I just came across it. Figured I would add my two cents. I've never used the Pinnacle twins, but I'm on my 3rd set of the Wolfgang twins over many years and I love this product. After the finishing glaze, I go over it with Colonite 845. Protection in south...

    “Baked In” Bug Stains

Thanks. Yes, I meant M205 & M105. I must have poured my glass of wine a little too heavy last night. I'll give that a shot and live with the results. Anything will be better than what it is now. That's why I was asking. I didn't want to go too extreme and possibly burn through...

    “Baked In” Bug Stains

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Unfortunately, my weekend warrior go-gettum wore off after a couple of years and I layed off a little from detailing our vehicles every weekend (kids and life in general). But, I think that the initial work I put into the vehicles has helped keep them in...

Review: Montana 10" Boars Hair Brush - Does It Scratch?

This is an awesome thread. I've owned one of these for a few years now and have only used it on the roof of our SUV and truck. I was using MF mitts before. Now, I'm going to start using it on the entire vehicles and see how it does. I'm excited. Thanks!

    Boars Hair Brush REEKS!

Thanks guys. I'll use it one more time and let it soak a little longer this time. It the smell is still too bad, I'll try a tiny bit of bleach.

    Boars Hair Brush REEKS!

I just bought a Montana Boar’s Hair Car Wash Brush Plus and it came in today. I let it soak in a bucket of McKees 37 Power Wash for about 5 minutes while I cleaned my tires and wheels. After I used it while I was washing my truck, I kept thinking I was smelling something dead. I literally...

LC Flat Pads or CCS Smart Pads?

I will say, they are very hard to clean. It seems like I can't get 845 totally out of the CCS red pads.

LC Flat Pads or CCS Smart Pads?

I'm getting a new set of pads. I currently use the CCS Smart Pads. I only use them a couple of time a year to apply either 845 or WG TSR\FG (if needed) to our 2 vehicles. I have read some really good things about the LC flat pads and I am wondering if it is worth the switch.

Review & Testing: Pinnacle Glasswork Windshield Washer Booster

Sorry for replying to such an old post, but is this still being made? I've used it for a couple of years and really like it. It's not on the Pinnacle product page and when I found it after searching, it says it's temporarily back ordered. Just checking to see if I need to search for something...

Chemical Guys New Car Scent. Similar products?

I can't believe I haven't seen this before! I'm tired I using and cleaning up waffle wafers from my truck...lol Where do you spray it and does it really last for weeks, like they say?

    pads for wg finishing glaze

First, sorry for replying to such and old post, but Nick's comment above threw me off of my plan a bit. Second, my wife is getting a new used SUV, dark metallic blue. All of our cars were light colored before, so corrections and upkeep were fairly simple. The paint has some minor to medium...

Review: McKee’s 37 Plastic Trim Restorer

I'm wondering also if anyone has used both McKee's and WG? I currently use WG. It was expensive, but it lasts and it works really good. The WG definitely has a strong petroleum smell when applying. It would be nice if I can get the same results from the much less expensive McKee's. One...

    An Alternative To Klasse SG?

Thanks for the advice. I think I want to stick to something a little more forgiving. The coating sounds a little scary in that it might be a little too durable for what I'm looking for. You did get me looking at McKee's 37 Hydro Blue Sio2 Coating and McKee's 37 High Def Paint Sealant.

    An Alternative To Klasse SG?

I can get close to a year with 845 & KSG. I've been very impressed with the McKee's products I've used so far. Which McKee's coating are you talking about? The only McKees product I'm not terribly crazy about is their tire gel. I use Pinnacle right now and I found that the McKees doesn't...

    An Alternative To Klasse SG?

I've been using KSG for a while now on my metallic silver 2011 Silverado (nothing too fancy, but I like to keep it shiny). I apply it after the first wash after I apply 845. If I'm lucky, I can get 2 waxes a year in, but it's usually only one. It's easy to apply and remove, but I'm always...
