Is there a downside to claying a section...

I do something similar. I have a 16 mo old at home and another on the way in about 6 weeks, so my wife gets a little agitated if I'm outside washing my truck more than 2 hours, so I wash and dry the complete truck, Iron X, then clay, then seal with KSG a panel or two at a time. The following...

Head-to-Head cage match - Klasse SG vs. Collinite 845

Today, I finally got to put Collinite on top of the KSG I put on last week. I am thoroughly impressed. I have a silver truck and I think it's about as shiny as I can possibly get silver. Now, the question is to see how long it lasts on top of KSG. I figure I will get about 6 months out of it...

Do You Wash A 2nd Time After Waxing?

I went back and looked at the post and he washed it after applying a sealant. Sorry, it wasn't a wax.

Do You Wash A 2nd Time After Waxing?

I don't know why I didn't think of a QD spray after. No matter how well I inspect the paint after buffing polish off, sure enough, the next day I always have some residue left on the paint. Thanks!

Do You Wash A 2nd Time After Waxing?

I saw a post recently that said he washed the car after waxing/polishing it. Although it sounds like a great idea to help get any bit of leftover polish off, it is time consuming. I've always wanted to do that, but that would take extra time that I usually don't have. I wanted to know if any...

Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax

I agree. I'm not great at applying polish by hand. I was struggling with getting KSG applied thin and even by hand, even though it may sound like a simple task.

Head-to-Head cage match - Klasse SG vs. Collinite 845

This weekend I put 2 coats of KSG on my 2011 Silver Silverado. I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. It is unbelievably shiny. When I get my GG 6 back from Griots this week, I plan on topping it with a coat Collinite this weekend - just to try and get a little more pop out of the...

2010 Chevy Silverado DP Paint Coating

Yep, they are black. They are relatively new and they aren't scuffed up. I might try amazing roll off. I'm sure it won't go to waste. They come clean and look black, but those looked like so much of a deeper black than I get.

2010 Chevy Silverado DP Paint Coating

Wow. Looks like that's on my wish list now. I have used GG Interior cleaner and I've tried Megs APC+, both times using a brush and then hosing them down. They come out nice, but I can't get results like that. Those look brand new.

I'm looking at your threads on polishing classic cars and thinking at the same time of the other threads where you are going somewhere away from the warehouse. Then I'm picturing you pulling up in an 18 wheeler  with all of your gear. Seriously though, when you go offsite to a...
