    Hydro2foam

I'm not sure about the foam cannon dilution. I just stuck with around 1:9 in the spray bottle possibly a bit less like 1:10 or 11. It felt plenty slick for me and did the job nicely

What is the true durability of hydro2?

Absolutely! I've seen close to 4 on a vehicle that was only washed with a citrus based soap. No claying or polishing. Car is outside 24/7. Honestly, this stuff is so easy to use it could last only a month and I'd still love it just as much. It does make wheels, trim and glass bead too which...

    Hydro2foam

Avi, I seriously have no idea how you keep coming out with these amazing products. I've told Corey this before, but every CarPro product I've used meets or exceeds my expectations which is just wild. I had the opportunity to use HydroFoam this past weekend and was blown away. I used it by...

    Meguiar's APC+

Since APC+ has been discontinued I've been using Scholls Concepts Bubble Pudding. As much as I really liked APC+, I would continue using Scholls over APC+ if given the option.

Did I sand through the clear?

It's honestly very hard to tell if you did or did not sand through. However, if you notice in Richy's post for repairing the key scratch he took paint thickness measurements to make sure he had enough to work with. Without having a tool such as Defelsko I would recommend in the future...

Whats the best microfiber out there?

Microfiber Madness is the best I've ever encountered. I highly recommend it.

Can only see swirls in sun!

I still have a few swirls here and there on my car. I just coated over them. Maybe try a wax or sealant that fills a little?

How to protect my car from extreme conditions ?

I would think the coating is sufficient. It'll protect from the dust and sand just sitting on it. Just rinse it clear before washing.

    Review: Meguiar's D114 Rinseless Wash

I believe I recall a guy using it at 1:128 for a waterless wash which sounds about right. I did play around with it at 1:96 (about 1 and a third oz per gallon) but I prefer it as a rinseless myself.

    Review: Meguiar's D114 Rinseless Wash

Having used both, I prefer D114 because of its cleaning power and ability to not stain wash media. But a lot of folks like ONR just fine. Truth be told, it's all personal preference and you'll find so many different opinions that perhaps the best idea is to try them both.

    Review: Meguiar's D114 Rinseless Wash

The way it reacts on paint by going "flat" is completely normal. It's just one of the behaviors of the product. And you will also find that if a bit does dry at all it is very easy to wipe off. Ultima Waterless Wash + is still my favorite all around but D114 is a very very close second. I have...

    The Best Wax; Case Closed

Besides some dusting and staining trim if you weren't cautious, Nu Finish liquid I found always worked well. Decent cleaning ability and pretty darned durable.

what's your next purchase going to be (detailing or non-detailing related)?

Detailing related. .. definitely more CarPro stuff! Some SS Flat Top too. Non detailing.... hmm... probably nothing. I don't really have any other hobbies.

    electric pressure washer?

If it's just for personal use and nothing heavy duty then I feel an electric is just fine. I have an inexpensive 1500 Cleanforce brand and I've used it countless times in the 2 years I've had it. No issues to speak of and it's certainly more than powerful enough for detailing duty.
