Its not for everyone and there have been alot of different experiences between use on different paint systems. I for one had marring issues the first time i used it on a black honda Fit, but since then i have had no other issues and have used it on soft paints like Subaru with no marring issues...

I just dabbed a microfiber and rubbed most of it off and then wet sanded the rest. All modern clearcoats shouldn't be affected by paint thinners.
