It is much easier for me to do it by machine. I have only waxed two cars with my machine so far but it is easier to put on that thin layer of Collinite 845 by machine.

Great thread. We just changed our shower doors earlier in the spring and I will say it is tough to keep them clear unless you stay after them every few days. I will give this a shot one day this week while I am on vacation and see what happens. I also have some Rejex to put on top of the M105. Cool.

I recently noticed the same thing at a local show here. The guy was using it on a 66 Fairlane painted black and the car looked really good. N pics here though.

May have to take it out of the HD bucket and make a run to Lowes and give it a shot. :xyxthumbs:

My grit guard fits in the HD bucket but does not set down on the bottom of the bucket. It wedges before it hits bottom.

inyadreems, post back how this works out for you. I am going to give it a shot with grey pads and M205 in a small spot on mine and see how it does. If it turns out nicely I will put some Collonite on it. If not, I will be looking for some Menzerna polish.

I will be subscribing to this one. I have a black 70 corvette that has newer paint on it and this is just one of the reasons I have been avoiding touching it. I bought M205 and some black pads to try but have been holding off.

Got my DVR set to record all the new episodes. All the episodes will be new episodes to me.

How did it work out for you robirwin? Just curious to see if you were happy with the outcome. I have a black vehicle and am getting ready to do some 105/205 to it also.

Same thing I thought, but I am in the very NOOB status myself. What pad combination did you wind up using with each product, M105 and M205?

There is a back rest on the bike, that is the reason he is not holding on and leaning back to drink. Otherwise he would have a pretty good case of road rash.

The flex or the boat? Good or bad? We have a bout we are getting ready to sell shortly and I want to clean it up to get it to sell quickly.

I had a black truck that I would run through the local car wash like you are talking about. The place I went to offered towels at the end so you could dry your vehicle, vacuums, and a floor mat washer. Even after using the towels to dry the truck, the truck would become hazy after a while.
