    Custom labels for spray bottles

I finally got the shipment of spray bottles in today. I was pleasantly surprised that the bottles already have measuring lines on the bottle itself. There are even ratio markings if you wanted to do 5:1 or 10:1 ratios (which I will be doing). Now I just need to finalize my template. Once I have...

    Custom labels for spray bottles

I have a client who runs a sign business. Since I am only doing small runs, it would cost me more to do the setup than it would do have them printed. It's not a bad idea if you're planning on doing a large print run. Plus I might change my mind next year (or next month) and want to try a...

    Custom labels for spray bottles

So I've updated the template using the same general design as before. I think I am going to add more to the label such as what it's safe on. I've had a friend pick up a bottle of wheel acid (back when I used that) thinking it was safe on paint. Luckily I realized what he was using and we hosed...

    Custom labels for spray bottles

I'll have to adjust my template to match the labels I picked up, but I ended up getting Avery's Self Laminating Labels (00752 is the product ID). Going to give these a try to see if they hold up better than normal printed paper labels. I'll re-post the designs once I get the new template created.

It's a photoshop file and I haven't tested how it lines up when printed, but sending a PM now.

    Custom labels for spray bottles

So I started playing with some designs for labels. I wanted something that was clean, but had all of the information on the bottle (dilution ratio, Product Name, General Name). This is what I have so far. Probably will end up tweaking the design again before I print them off. The design is for...

    Custom labels for spray bottles

That is a good idea. The vinyl would definitely hold up better than a normal paper printer label. I will probably try to the printed labels to start for now, just to see how they look, but if they don't hold up well I might borrow your idea!

    Custom labels for spray bottles

The bottles are arriving Thursday. I'll post pic's once they get here, but they are just plain bottles with the chemical resistant sprayer. I wanted something generic and clean. I have a few ideas for the labels in my head now. I'll post a few photo's once I get them in digital format.

    Custom labels for spray bottles

How many of you create your own labels for your spray bottles so they match? Post a photo of your spray bottles and custom labels! I'm looking for design ideas. I like products from a few different company's but I want my spray bottles to match. I would buy the Megs pre-labeled bottles, but I...

Starting a new side line *Need advice*

As some of the others have said, I would look into Meg's Detailer line. They are very cost effective. I picked up the glass cleaner, Super Degreaser and APC for my peronsal vehicles. I would even say to cut Meg's APC to 20:1 for basic interior wipe down and make another bottle at 10:1 to...

    Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze?

Thank you @Klasse and Bob. I was planning on trying it using Megs D156 as my base. I think I will give both a try and see which I prefer. I don't think I could possibly use 33oz of Klasse in my life-time just using it as a sealant. I remembered seeing both formulas on here and I couldn't find...

    What should I do?

As many have already suggested, I would invest in some auto detailing specific products. Most will perform just as well if not better than Windex and your investing in a more cost effective solution for your business. Meguiar's D120 concentrate will yield ~11 gallons of glass cleaner when...

    Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze?

I've used Klasse for the past 2 years and I have to say I am very impressed with the look and durability. Maine winters are pretty rough and a single coat lasted from September to March, with only a handful of washes. I admit I was in a depression not being able to clean my car. I've been using...

I have a set similar to those in the photo and I've been really happy with them. Congrats on the order!

Thank you! I have a bunch of other detailing supplies like c845 and Klasse sealant, but I needed to replace some of the items that were running low and it was a good excuse to get a DA Im the MAN. I couldn't help myself and I opened the D120 to use around the house. The whole house smells like...

    Webiste Revamping

The home page split is ok. I would have them both justified the same (centered or left). Are you using a service to build your website or are you creating it by hand? Just curious what flexibility you have to customize your site. If you could move your Logo to the menu to the left of the home...

Doctor Shine 2011 Chevy Tahoe Long Island New York

Nice job! It looks amazing now, and nice match up on the floor mat dye. That's one thing I could never do when I was detailing at a shop 8 years ago.

    Webiste Revamping

Some thoughts regarding layout. Try to create clean lines with your content. Rather than trying to split the content into two columns as you're doing on some of your pages, try keeping it one column but adding a heading to make them stand out. Use headers when ever possible to summarize the...
