If your laptop already has Win7 and does NOT have a touch screen on it, I'd say wait and see before buying. If the new Metro interface needs as much memory as someone said earlier, your laptop may or may not have it and laptop memory is not cheap to upgrade.

You might check into the O2 sensors as well. Those are good culprits as well for check engine lights and on an older vehicle they could definitely need replacing.
