    Optimum GPS with Wolfgang DGPS?

Anyone combine these? Are they compatible? I'm thinking of using GPS on my Jeep for the glaze filler capabilities (unless there is a better suggestion) because scratches from brush off-road is becoming inevitable (I try to avoid it but sometimes I get taken on a trail where it can't be...

    What are you listening to...?

Some old live Metallica shows from the free section of livemetallica.com (an official site) in tribute/remembrance of the 26th anniversary of Cliff's death.

    got it?

Also, if you have a light colored vehicle, you may not even need the "glaze" as the Wolfgang TSR finishes down really well on its own. You might not noticed the extra polishing from the Finishing Glaze at that point. Oh and you'll want a wax or sealer to go on top after.

    Happy friday!!!!!

Thank Alko, yeah I managed to get the last open reservation at Incanto this afternoon for tomorrow. The chef, Chris Cosentino, and the restaurant, have been featured on Food Network, Travel Channel, and Bravo shows a few times. Been wanting to go since I saw it, and the prices are not too bad...

how about faded "GREY" trim, bumpers, etc.

Well, I know there are some products designed to dye the plastic black again. I don't know the names offhand. If you have a Jeep vehicle, or one with similar black plastic, apparently a trick with the older models (newer ones apparently no longer fade) is to heat the plastic up with a heat gun...

    Happy friday!!!!!

Happy Friday all. Yesterday was the gf's birthday, so tomorrow we're going down to San Francisco (about 1 1/2-2 hour drive) for the day. We were going to stay a night or two but we just couldn't find decent hotel prices and chose a day trip instead. That's about it for us, maybe a movie on...

Ever use your detailing skill on something other than a car?

I polished a computer case a few years back after I sanded the boring white powder coat off of it and sprayed it with primer, metallic black, and clear. I wet sanded the clear, used a 3m fine cut rubbing compound, Megs #7 glaze, and Megs #26 wax. Of course, I didn't know about the "let it cure...

    Happy Friday!!!!

Happy Friday! GF is working this weekend so I'm all on my own. Taking the Jeep in for a maintenance thing tomorrow morning, then Sunday taking an old co-worker off-roading on some light trails. Nothing too major since we'll be on our own and I don't want to get stuck because I tried something...

    Happy friday!!!!

^^^^ Good to know we won't lose you completely then, just during the day. Hmmm, so suggestions for Scotch. Well, I pretty much drink single malts, but checking out a blended might be good for you as well. I've heard good ones are Chivas Regal 12yr and Johnnie Walker Black Label. Ones that...

    Happy friday!!!!

Ah, you gotta get home Internet access then :xyxthumbs: I've had the occasional cigar off & on, first learned about them back in the 90's when I joined the Navy and we could get real Cuban ones while in port overseas. I have maybe one a year though. We'll go to a wine festival and there will...

    Happy friday!!!!

Happy Friday! Wait what? No access to AGO? How does that work? Nothing much going on here this weekend. GF working tomorrow so I'm going down south a bit to pick up our quarterly wine "shipments" from the couple of wineries we have club memberships at. Was planning on fixing some holograms...

    Dual Action or Rotary?

Just one thing to keep in mind that I've read (hopefully someone can chime in on if it's accurate) is that the Flex 3401 can't use the new microfiber pads because of its larger than a normal DA orbit size.

    Happy Friday!!! Labor Day edition

Happy Friday all! So, with a lot of people having a long weekend anyone have any good plans? We're having a BBQ on Sunday. I do mean BBQ (vs. just grilling). I'm pulling out the smoker and doing a couple tri-tips and my first shot at ribs for some family and friends that are coming over...

    Paintless dent repair...minor rant

What's really amusing in a bad way about this is that someone could be so bad with a rotary like this. I mean, me who had no experience with one, ran a friends DeWalt 849 (older model not the newer dual speed down to 600rpm ones) on an old junkyard Honda door with M105 and 205 and put NO swirls...

    Paintless dent repair...minor rant

So we got sort of an answer, she finally called them today. They said they would have used a buffer to try to remove any stuck on paint left from what caused the dent. There definitely was some of that so now I understand why. However, as stated, the dents, scraping, and paint, were along the...

    Paintless dent repair...minor rant

I will next weekend when I fix it. I understand the comment about maybe they had to buff the dent, but when I take the picture and circle relevant areas you guys will see just how crazy the dude went with buffing.
