You can use a screw driver to pry it off, but be slow and very carful (plastic breaks) and pry the hose off slowly working around the plastic piece. I forget if there is a drain or not because i always just pull the hose. Just to let you know when you install is put the clip back in first...

There should be a plastic piece that is attacthed to the radiator, it has a thin wire clip that slides inside the plastic piece and locks around the radiator . You can use a pick to pull the clip out and slowly pull the hose off. it will take some force but be patient. I dont see the clip in...
