Can't upload pictures to member gallery

I'm using Google Chrome, but I've tried using Firefox and yielded the same result. I've sent you an email.

Can't upload pictures to member gallery

Ah well that would explain it. Thanks for your help Mike. I assumed anything but a *space* would work, but now that I know *dashes* won't work either I'll rename the rest of them. Look out for my thread showing off my new tools and work! :buffing: Thanks again Mike EDIT: So it still doesn't...

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I emailed Mike and hopefully he can get this sorted out for us.

Can't upload pictures to member gallery

Thanks for replying Mike. I've read through all of those articles, and I mentioned in my first post that none of my pictures have spaces in the filenames. I click "Upload Photos", have my category set to "Member Galleries", I choose one photo that I want to upload, and I click "Submit". I get...

Can't upload pictures to member gallery

Alright so pretty technically inclined, and even I can't figure this out. I'm 90% sure it's not a problem on my part, but when I go to upload pictures, I choose the ones I want (with no spaces in the filenames) and click submit. It shows me the "Uploading xx%" and after it gets to 100%, I get...

Using a 3M air sander to polish

Maybe after the 105, try using Meguiars PlastX. It's a mild plastic polish that has removed 2000-3000 grit sanding scratches for me in the past. Then again, you did finish it off with a mild polish so maybe I'm way off base here.

    $250 to get started

I think the reason it seems like a lot of people go with the PC is because it was the FIRST. I believe the PC was around long before the other dual action polishers, made by Meguiars, Griots, etc. Another reason I think many go with the PC is because of the kits AG offers. I feel like AG...

    $250 to get started

I know you said you were going with the PC7424xp, but have you looked into the Griots Garage polisher? It has a 7 amp motor and a lifetime warranty as opposed to the PC's 4.5 amp motor and 3 year warranty. The extra power will help in removing those tough defects. While the kits AG sells are...

AG is based in Florida, so Eastern time. But hey, there's always great free shipping sales going on. :xyxthumbs:

I believe when a new episode of "Two Guys Garage" comes out, AG has a 3 hour free shipping sale on orders over $95. Maybe you ordered slightly outside the 3 hour window? I think it ended at 1 PM on Saturday.

Yup, Dubbin1 has it right. Sometimes there are 3 hour sales that net you free shipping on orders over $95. Since it's automatic, you can still use a coupon code, in my case "summer15". :xyxthumbs:

Ordered! I waited until today to take advantage of the free shipping sale, and then I used the 15% off coupon code to score an awesome discount! That combined with my $100 gift certificate, I got a HUGE deal! :buffing:

    First purchase advice

Durability is almost more important to me than the looks, but I'd love to have both. My car is garaged in the summer, but when I go back to school it sits in a parking lot for 2-3 weeks at a time :(. I wish I could get some Souveran but I don't have the cash right now. I'll make sure to focus...

Thanks again for your help Cee Dog! I'm gonna hold off on posting another thread and I'm gonna take your advice on trying the NXT wax. I kinda forgot that if I didn't like it, I can just strip it and try something else . I'm getting a free sample of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant with my...

    First purchase advice

To avoid starting a new thread, I thought I'd ask here: I have some Megs NXT Wax 2.0 but I'm starting to get second thoughts about using it. I'm leaning more towards a sealant. I've used Opti-Seal before and while it seems durable and easy to use, it doesn't seem like it gives a good shine. I...

Thanks for the feedback Mike! I'm pretty sure it's the drying because I tried the Vroom branded microfiber drying towel (btw it just moves around the water) and it scratched the roof. But I may buy a microfiber mitt and do an experiment to make sure the grout sponge isn't scratching. Thanks...

    First purchase advice

Well I have been lurking here for a while (almost 7 months!) just reading everything I could, and now, after a $100 gift card to AG (thanks Mom), it is time to purchase my supplies. I just want to check here first to make sure I'm not missing anything important. So here is my shopping cart as of...

Using a 3M air sander to polish

I've been using an air sander to polish paint for a couple of months now. It's not better than an electric polisher, but since it's already available to you, I say go for it. I use mine in a car shop that has heavy duty compressors that can handle anything thrown at them. The only complaint I...
