    Griots, Flex, Rupes DA clone

I see that the Ansi clone is available in the states now for ~$275. That's not a large enough difference in price for me to gamble and pass on the Rupes.

    Black Honda S2000 recovery

Very nice! I had a 2006 S2K in Berlina Black and it was one of the softest paints I have ever touched. I did a two step with UC and 205. The 205 with my softest LC pad left a very fine marring. After many failed attempts, PO85RD finally did the trick of clearing it up. I'm impressed the Nano...

how do you wash your microfibers?

Lately I've been using Griot's Microfiber detergent. So far it has worked well, though I haven't thrown a heavily soiled towel at it yet.

Is there a UV Protectant for Cloth seats?

We all spend a lot of money to put a UV protectant on our plastic interior pieces. Since cloth seats are basically plastic, it seems reasonable fabric would be susceptible to the same degradations. Does a UV protectant exist for this application?

    2013 Accord V6 - Full Correction 30+hrs - Immaculate Reflections

I had a 2006 Honda S2000 in Berlina Black. I hate Honda's black paint. It is such a pain to work with. The 85RD was a necessity to knock off that fine marring. The Accord looks great.

Help! M105/205 on black Porsche 997S

Another vote for the 4500/85RD. I had a Berlina Black Honda S2000. To date, it has had the softest paint I've touched. I went after it with the M105/205 and got ridiculous marring. I backed off to my softest pad and M105 and finished off with the 85RD on a red pad. That did the trick.

Weirdest thing you found in a vehicle?

While I was in school I worked at CircuitCity installing car audio. Terrible looking home installs were all too uncommon, but one of our wildest finds was a trunk FULL (~20) of sub machine guns and assault rifles.

My solution to $150 foam guns...

In the demo video at the beginning of this thread I used Meg's GC with Meg's APC, about 4-5 oz combined. I've since used GC a few times and it foams well.

My solution to $150 foam guns...

What zip code are you using online to find that $9.97 price? I've only been able to find it for $18 online. Dave, here is a picture of what the quick connect fittings look like.

My solution to $150 foam guns...

FWIW, I made this video and I use this foam blaster all of the time. I just recently registered here and didn't realize the video had been linked. I saw that someone asked what soap was used for the video. It was 2 oz of Megs GC and 2 oz of APC topped off with water.

If you were breaking into the Microfiber systems, what would you go with?

I ended up going with the Megs MF cutting discs in 5" and 3". I got the D300 to match but skipped on the d301 and finishing discs. I also picked up some DG 501 for my less intensive details. Hopefully this will work well with my m105/205 and the rest of the aresenal. I've got a lot of products...

If you were breaking into the Microfiber systems, what would you go with?

That brings up a good point that I picked up on when doing more reading on the MF pads. It seems that there is the most value in the MF system with the MF cutting pads. I've seen a few details where the correction is done with the d300/MF pad which is followed up with polish on a foam pad. I...

If you were breaking into the Microfiber systems, what would you go with?

I've read about some great result with the Meg's MF system. I mainly wonder if I might be better served with some combination of the Meg's MF pads with another brand of compound/polish. Mark, I was thinking that I was going to finish off with BFWD, but I think I'm going to go with the 845 to...

If you were breaking into the Microfiber systems, what would you go with?

I recently purchased a Cadillac CTS in Redline red. It is going to need a good bit of correction and I'm less than excited about busting out the M105. I figure this might be a good opportunity to pick up something a little more user friendly. I have had it suggested that I should look into a...

    Duragloss #501 Strikes Again!

That is great, nice work. I've been trying like hell to find it locally, NAPA doesn't want to order it and Car Quest didn't have it in stock. I might just have to bite the bullet and put an order in.
