Moved to RI last year, car looks like crap and I don't have the space to detail it here. Can anyone recommend a quality place. I just took it to a place in Newport that did not even remove minor swirls in my paint. Very frustrating, especially when I would have just done it myself at my house...

So i just received my order of Cquartz. Can this be applied to the whole vehicle, wait and remove. or do i have to do this panels at a time. It is a small vehicle...a VW GTI. Also the temp is rather cold here, but i will be using a portable heater to warm up the garage as much as i can.

TAPE! It is eaiser to put on and pull off tape than to explain how you burned a moulding or some trim to the owner, and if it is your own ride you will look at that forever and be pissed off every time....

Only have a few Pics Used Menzerna IP, FP, and DG 111, DG AW. Amazing roll off and Aerospace 303 on top. First convert I have done, I liked what the 303 did for the top.

Ok i have someone with a garbage bag that was hanging out on the exhaust for a few hours before it was noticed. It has melted to the chrome tips. I really don't think it should be scraped off....any ideas??

Remove the stains or the the anodized?? I don't want to give this guy advice that will make it worse..

I'm sure he tried to clean it up but the stains would not come out. I think i would have killed the guy.....the guy has had the blower on his car for only a few months too...

I figure he should go after the guy for the cost but what the heck was the detailer using?? Those blowers are anadiozed...

I have a guy from one of my forums who took his mustang in to be detailed. He says they sprayed Acrylic onto his engine and let it run and it staines his supercharger. any ideas on what was sprayed....and what he can do to fix this. Not sure if he has brought this problem to the deatilers...

I would go to you local home depot or equal hardware store and loot at what cables they have available. Not that hard to change out a cord just make sure the replacement cord is capable of handeling the number of amps the PC draws. At the most you might have to do some solder work.

1999 Ford Lightning Guy is in the military and had left it as his dad's place for over a year, thought it was in a garage, turned out it was outside the whole time. I used Duragloss 901 Portor Cable /W Lake Country Orange, white, blue, and black pad. For Paint Correction used Meguiar's #83...
