I've had only polarized lenses for the last 18 or so years. I couldn't imagine going back to non-polarized unless it was to a new / better technology. I'm about to get my first pair of prescription sunglasses and I'll either go with Smith or I have also been looking at the Costa del Mar line...

Any preference in any of those when it come to anti-static/dust repellancy? It's really, really dry dry where I'm at (the relative humidity was 8% at noon today) so cars tend to pick up a lot of dust. Thanks!

In my area there is one carwash + a coin-op pay-n-spray. The carwash is a hand wash with brushes. They have a guy on each side with a long handled brush. Eeek. Whatever areas get missed by the brush (like where it doesn't fit) gets picked up by the dry & finish guys rubbing the dirt around...
