Glad I read this. I have been going back and forth between PC and griots and was actually going to purchase PC megs kit tomorrow. Looks like I'll be getting a griot. Is there an advantage over using 5.5 pads instead of 6.5

Thanks Matt! :-) also guys my neighbor asked if I could clean her car and she would pay me. She drives a 2005 acura tl. All I would do is wash, clay, wax, vacuum, wipe down interior, dress interior and tires and clean windows. What's a fair neighbor price?

I don't know why I had my mind set on a flex. I think it's because it was the first polisher that I read about and the only one i researched. Now it seems a lot more economical and makes more sense to look at the griots or porter cable. Thanks for all the help everyone

Definitely makes sense to look on eBay for a used PC to practice with. That way I dint have to shell out all the money up front to just learn.. Thanks Willis

Thanks, that does make sense. I'm looking into poor boys black hole glaze until I cab get into polishing. I could do 50/50 with the glaze to see how well it fills in minor swirls, right?
