Which pads for Optimum Polish II

Thanks. Not impressed with the cut of the pad is what I meant. Maybe those pads work better on a DA.

Which pads for Optimum Polish II

I am working with a rotary on medium paint and moderate defects. I tried the Lake Country Hydro Tech Tangerine polishing pad but not impressed with it. Should I move up to the LC HT Cyan compunding pad that I already own or try one of the Chemical Guys Hex pads - Orange or Green maybe? Hex...

    Menzerna Top finish machine glaze

Menzerna USA products are just Autogeek products. Don't know if they are unique or jus another relabeled bottle. I have exchanged several mails with Menzerna Germany and they wouldn't come out and say it but even they don't hold these products highly. Powerlock, Colorlock etc. Menzerna made in...

The wax look cant be faked!

It's form over function for me - waxing. I love the look of a good wax but sealants like Sonax PNS keep my car way cleaner.

Optimum Spray Wax after weekly wash-overkill?

I have never used Opti seal but read that it looks rather sterile compared to a typical sealant. I found OCW looks great but attracts a lot of dust. Opti Coat sounds like the best thing out there for a daily driver but what will I do with all my waxes and sealants then? So far, only ONR gets...

BSD is a spray sealant and one of the best out there. It is useless to use as a cleaning QD.

More Devoted Following: BF vs Collinite?

If Collinite is better than BF, it means detailing technology hasn't moved an inch in the last few decades. I use neither but just thinking out loud.

    Sonax Spray Wax not BSD

BSD is light years ahead of OCW in terms of durability and water behavior. OCW has better looks and UV filters.

    Sonax Spray Wax not BSD

Sonax high speed spray wax is just a mediocre product. Just like anything outside their Xtreme, Premium Class or Profiline range of products.

    Optimum MF Pads Question

I love the Optimum MF Compounding pad with their Hyper Compound. I also love their Polish II that I am currently using on a LCHT polishing pad but I can use more cut. I am thinking of trying it with their MF polishing pad. How different would the Optimum MF Compounding & Polishing pads be in...

Thanks. Coming from you, it inspires a lot of confidence in their polishes :xyxthumbs: Can I ask what all polishes do you use, other than Optimum?

    Quick Detailing Products

After getting my hands on Sonax BSD, pretty much all other spray waxes, spray sealants and QDs are sitting untouched in my garage. That stuff is epic.
